I get that they’re trying to throw shade at the instate rivals, but could come back to haunt them if there’s a breakout among the Hoos,..
I get that, I also think there’s fatigue because Caleb Farley left VT over the summer saying that there weren’t good controls in place and he didn’t feel safe. To be clear, an outbreak can happen to anyone. But based on pretty good sources inside VT, this isn’t an isolated incident. With the combination of the fact that VT has refused to release its data, seems like this has been bubbling below the surface for a while and hasn’t been fixed.
Gotcha, I didn’t realize that JPWahoo is UVAs student body on campus yet? Thought I remember that date getting pushed back
I am fairly confident it is not a large number of positives but rather all the people that quarantine after contact tracing for a positive test. I know one team there had 1 positive and then 17 players have to quarantine because they all went to dinner together.
im amused at the uva fans angry that we rescheduled the vt game. they seem to be the loudest bunch in the threads i can read. why the hell would we not reschedule? every dude on the roster wants to play that game.
he might have cracked the lineup last year if he didn't go down. was surprised and happy to see he was named a starter.
Looking at the depth chart for the first time. Weird that all 3 QBs behind Armstrong are listed as co-second-string. Our defense also looks nasty, but looks terrifying after this year. Suspect we'll see some underclassmen step up this season though.
I feel confident for once and it gives me a nervous feeling I haven’t felt for a long time in football. I guess this is actually happening?
I hate that it seems like we’re always hesitant to use the middle of the field. Lots of 15 yard passes for 3 yards.
Excuse me... what the fuck is Blount doing?! Point shaving?! That was one of the worst efforts I’ve ever seen
Looked like a 2x2 set and Blount was playing the other side of the formation in a 2 high zone. Not sure who busted but not likely it was Blount IMO
You can see the corner at the top let’s two vertical routes run right thru the zone. Not a good situation for that safety at the top (think it’s Nelson) Conventional cover 2 you need to reroute the #1 receiver and widen his ass to give the safety a chance to hold the vertical by #2
More of a pet peeve than a true criticism because I get it to a certain extent, but it annoys me that we basically don’t open up the offense until we’re down 2 scores. This happened in games last year too.
