Lets not act like the Lightning didnt knock Roope Hintz out of the game on a dirty hit you fucking cuntbag
Dallas holding and interfering with every team all playoffs coming back to bite them, you hate to see it
Dump Did you miss that second period where we quite literally had our way with Dallas's asshole and they quit in game 3? I know I didn't miss it... Just saying, I don't think that was the refs fault
Full disclosure, I do not like stamkos at all. Dude is always injured during the playoffs It’s automatic if his name was tremblay he would be called soft all over the place.
Stars are too fucking sloppy with the puck and commit way too many fucking dumb penalties. It’s finally caught up to them.
It was actually kind of funny. The guys I was watching the game with, just before that, were talking about how you never see it called anymore.
The only other time he's missed time in the playoffs was due to the blood clot. This core injury is the only injury for him that's lingered and caused him to be in and out of the lineup. The other injuries he missed time were pretty fluky: broken leg crashing into a post, tangled up a Red Wing and landed awkwardly to tear his meniscus, and the blood clot out of nowhere. He's had shitty injury luck. It's not like he's had soft tissue injuries that keep popping up every few months. Something obviously isn't right with him or he'd be out there. If the rest of the team thought he was soft or milking something they wouldn't have reacted like they did when he scored on Wednesday.
This is an interesting point. I don’t expect anyone who doesn’t follow the lightning to know this but the reason bowness left the lightning was because of our penalty kill. The lightning were 28th in the league at 76% which shouldn’t happen when you have hedman and talented penalty killing forwards. We finished number 1 in the league the next season on the PK without bowness. I wonder if it’s something with his system and strategy on the PK that doesn’t work. The isles choked us out and our power play was useless. Without stamkos our PP has historically struggled. This is the first stretch I can remember it being dominant without 91 sitting in his office firing off one timers.
Even if he doesn’t play another shift this series, the game and goal he scored was the turning point of the series imo.
Staal will play a ton of minutes and be moved at the deadline for like a 3 or 4. Should be a good partner for Seider for as long as he’s in town.
seider should stay overseas until this shit is over. At least that would be my advice to him. A complete season in bubbles is crazy, it can’t happen
