I can't lie...I shit all over Herbert leading up to the draft. But he's been playing well. Much better than I'd have thought. Jury is still out but early returns are promising. That week should be fun.
He’s always had the tools to play good, the big knock (given he was still a top 5 pick) was he crumbled in nearly every big moment.
My biggest issue was the percentage of screens he threw in college. To me it was crazy to pick a guy who threw so many screens that early. That he seemingly never played up to a big game was the cherry on top. So far he seems to have proven the screen thing irrelevant though.
However good of a teammate you are it's always gonna be rough to get benched no matter what the situation is.
Why does that cuck still have a freaking job Between him and Omar we have to have the worst beat writers in the league
The video of Fitzpatrick's comments gives a lot more context. He comes off as more just kinda bummed about it. The quotes minus video read more angry/upset.
I know this will never happen and we have great areas of need but I’d go insane for a first round next year of Waddle and Pitts
Pitts probably doesn't happen simply because I don't think he's on the board for our second first rounder. But WR is definitely a need IMO.
I'll laugh my ass off if the Giants take an OT top 5 two years in a row. But I guess it'll happen because it's the most Gettleman Giants thing I can think of.
He shouldn't but I haven't seen any rumblings of him being on the hot seat. I normally see Giants/Jets stuff on my twitter TL because of Yankees guys I follow. I think they're gonna give him leeway because they hired a new coach and probably don't want to try find a GM that'll roll with what they have. I'd just let the new GM fire whoever he wanted if I could get someone good but the Giants don't make good decisions as of late.
Never heard of this. That seems so subjective that it would be impossible. Definitely been pretty pleasantly surprised by Chan Gailey though.
Really almost thought the Jets were winning today Will be tough for Houston to stay in top 5 with Watson healthy and the bottom of the league being so terrible
Unless Jerry gets stupid and wants to trade a 1st or 2nd round pick, I think you get more value having Fitz around to mentor Tua.
With the picture of the Steelers and the last name Fitzpatrick, I got very confused for a second there.
I think Jerry would be crazy to trade anything of value for a veteran QB now. Why give up assets for a stop gap solution when you aren't a SB contender either way?
the NFC east is so bad that 8 wins almost certainly wins it. You know how much owners over making the playoffs. I could absolutely see him trading a mid round pick for a QB to try and win the division.
with Jerry Jones you never know. They are an atrocious football team right now and you know this kills Jerry to watch this team every week
So teams were just asking and Omar ran with that? LOL he has no team sources. Just spitting hot takes to the Sentinel.
