If Okeke returns to form, that's four top-20 players in one draft. notbad.gif Edit: It was already an irrelevant take, but now it's officially an irrelevant take. Really excited about Hunter. Would be happy with Clarke at 10, but understand if we go with Hayes to try and compensate for Trae's lack of D with a D centerpiece.
We gonna be flush with cash in 2020 with Baze, Crabbe, random Plummlee I forget which one, and Hill coming off the books.
Got the pick we should have originally and only really cost us the 17th. No telling who we would have gotten with that but love the value of the 4th
The thing I like about Hunter is he seems like he has the right mindset. This is the guy that went from redshirt to 6 man to one of the best players in the country. Feels like he will do wonders learning from Pierce and only scratching the surface. Plus he’s elite at D and oh boy do we new that.
I’m mobile and busy right now but will have full thoughts on Hunter in the next day as someone who watched every game he played in college
We needed to guarantee a top 3 wing and seems like Reddish is having question marks with his health. So yes.
I can't keep track of all the players, was Reddish more who we could have gotten at 8 and you're saying that wasn't a good idea so we traded up for someone else?
Reddish apparently may have health issues. So he may fall far. Hell we could possibly end up with both and that would be great.
Love this so much. Love Dre, love the Hawks, love my team trading up to draft my favorite player in the draft. Cloud 9 right now, all my sports worlds colliding.
Hate to see Hayes go at 8 but that feels like a reach. Glad the Hawks got rid of 8. Zero all stars from that slot in the modern era. Next lowest is like 11.
