Have a disc because that's what I could get, and it came with three games Going forward I will probably buy all digital tho
There's no advantage to not having the disc other than cost. No more storage and it's still basically just as big physically. And it can be a 4k DVD player if you didn't have one before.
"other than cost" But other than that it doesn't perform better or have more storage. I think they had an opportunity to have a digital version as the same price as with disc but with more storage but didn't do it, for example.
Since movies go in and out of streaming I'm good with a couple good standbys or favorites on a 4k disc. For the kids too we have a bunch of DVDs for the car too.
Yeah I cant say I'd endorse owning a DVD collection anymore but gotta have a couple favorites plus major sporting events such as UCF peach bowl and fiesta bowl wins and 1980 miracle on ice complete game vs ussr
Disc version for me, some of these PS5 downloads can eat up 10% of Comcast’s monthly data cap and you can sometimes find better deals on disc versions.
From what I understand it’s regional, we didn’t have it for a while but they introduced one right before Covid. It’s 1.2 TB which we usually don’t get close to but it’s $10/50GB if you go over so it can add up if you’re not watching it.
This came out for playstation the other day, but I think it released earlier in the year on PC and last month for switch/Xbox. Anybody played it? It's supposed to be a really good Metroidvania. TrustyPatches this seems right up your alley
REALLLLLLLY has sucked since we cut the cord. I end up having track it daily. 39.6 GB per day on average.
We had Comcast when they were only giving like 800 GB, I think it was. I went over it like 2 months in a row, easily. The third month I just decided they could get fucked and switched to AT&T. Their speeds sucked though, so after a year I ended up going back to Comcast, but they increased the limit to 1.2 TB. We've been pretty good at staying below that for now.
We have gone over the cap twice I think but Comcast gave us three strikes before charging. First was when my wife was on maternity leave and streaming all day. Second was when I had to download my computer backup to a new machine. We usually hang around 800GB a month.
Sitting at 702 GB so far this month. Max limit through today (if remaining on 39.6gb per day pace) is 871gb. Feeling pretty good. This is my life now.
I highly recommend swapping to another provider if you can. If you are stuck with Comcast, you have the option to pay $50 extra for unlimited data. Alternatively, you can get a Comcact business circuit put in at your house and all of those are uncapped.
maybe but I have “unlimited” on both and feel like stuff starts to slow down on both near the end of my billing cycle. Maybe I’m imagining things.
I'm honestly confused. If read it as a "remake of the first game" which means it's basically a ground up remaster or whatever. But it's the first game. Or is it an entire reboot where it's not the same story? I'm not sure how much water that word "remake" is carrying.
We had a baby about a month ago and it has NOT helped get us under the limit. $30/ month to go unlimited which might be worth it just for the peace of mind…
Welllll We can use two current examples of remakes to define “remake” and I think we will fall somewhere inside either example. bluepoint rebuilt demon souls brick by brick with a new engine but kept it 100% faithful to the original. The game itself is probably the most current gen game I’ve played thus far based on graphics. capcom completely remade and rebuilt RE2 and Nemesis from the ground up with a new engine and replaced the familiar tank controls with an over the shoulder third person perspective. That’s less true to the original but still a remake. I think if dead space is remade wit a new engine, new QOL features, more respectable and fluid gameplay and graphical and sound improvements that add more atmosphere then I think it’s a must play. Dead Space was ahead of it’s time and I’d love to replay it current gen
Yeah I guess I am just not into remakes especially with the way DS1 ends. That's a one time experience for me. Just from a story POV. I'd prefer more of an original reboot where Issac first encouters whatever but it's a different take on it. I dunno. I guess with games that you sink hours and hours into I'd rather not know how it ends
For anyone who doesn't have apple tv I got an email saying you can get 6 months free through the app on your PS5. The offer is only good through 7/22 though.
I’ll play a dead space remake/remaster. It’s been long enough so will fresh to me. About 75% through Rachet. Great little game. Once I complete I will go back and get the last few screws or armor I missed. Going to 100% it
