Also highly recommend Goose late night for those going. Tough going up agains MMJ, but should be a good party
We going to do the damn thing. Ain't worried about no water. What was it that Steve Miller said: Everythings better when wet Jungle love it's driving me mad It's me crazy ( Crazy)
Another day of rain, and trying to get cars/trucks through that; not happening. Come on rain, blow through!
Nah, I’m not going, but saw on Twitter and was trying to be helpful. Haven’t been following the thread.
Even though I’m not going just some acts this weekend that could be good Andy Frasco Turkauz Run The Jewels Kraungbin Lizzo Goose Greensky Bluegrass Leon Bridges Of course there are some others, but those are what I would schedule around. Enjoy and hopefully rain doesn’t fuck it up for yall
I’m seeing some folks saying the weather is moving faster than expected. Down to 20-30%. Seems like good news.
So what's our roll call looking like: For sure coming: Me Tex ButchCassidy ??? Coming: Earn_Marks Keef Michael Scofield Who else? Edit add on: Nashville Knight Saturday
I need to make it over there this year. We tried "last year" and it was closed? Or we got there too late? No idea.
I'm thinking we'll leave around 0300 Thursday morning. 7 hour drive, should get in like around 10. Hoping people can still get spots Wednesday, so it's not a crazy morning Thursday. I fear they may have to push back again, due to standing water/mud.
Some of these pictures I'm seeing of the camp grounds look fine. I'm guessing they should be good to go with not much foot traffic out there.
I had to look it up and it seems by their tour setlist so far is the cover album is 2nd half. I hate glancing at setlist.fm before shows, but this was necessary for scheduling purposes. Primus is back in. Leaving Foo early.
Not necessarily. Probably start the Foo set on the Hill. Then walk toward Primus to catch their first song. Will also be in VIP viewing for RTJ for the starting gun.
My plan is still to make it. Waiting to hear back about whether or not my dude had the guest pass he promised me. Plan is to do Thursday and Friday, then Charlotte for Georgia-Clemson, head back to the farm Sunday. Soooooo we will see. If shit keeps looking bad I might just go for Friday or Sunday. I just have this burning need to get back on the farm to heal my soul a little.
I know you’re usually staff or volunteer, but if you’ve been in the camp grounds they’re pretty rolling small hills. There’s a LOT of room for water accumulation especially being just a field
I’m usually in ADA but the first few years we were out in random GA. I know the landscape is up and down. I’m just going off the pics and vids I’ve seen. Just hoping for the best.
I mean yeah. Look at the radar. It’s a hurricane, it’s just been rotating over Tennessee for a while now
Have a friend from college who's a logistics coordinator for the fest and he told me this morning there was a strong possibility of it getting canceled. Apparently the shot callers viewed it as more of a win to cancel and recoup what they could from insurance than risk the fest being a complete disaster.
FUCK! We opted to stay local and go to Bonnaroo once they announced single-day shuttles instead of flying to NYC for Electric Zoo.
