If I remember right, did Nebraska say a team was clapping at them last year and B1G basically said F off? Now when we do it, it’s a penalty. This conference hates us just as much as we hate them.
Yeah I couldn’t remember what the circumstances were but Corch Farts definitely pissed and moaned about clapping once.
Had to protect the poor center who couldn’t be coached to snap consistently until a few games into his third year starting.
Given where we are, it’s not surprising or bad luck to lose in the fashions we have to Michigan State, OU, and Michigan. What’s dumbfounding is having all three happen in the same season.
Also, Adrian is totally coming back. He’s going to make more NIL money as NU QB than he will playing scout team or CFL
So if Adrian comes back I guess he’ll have every QB record with no chance of ever having them broken?
until the next century’s pandemic, especially given the amount of yardage racked up in flag college football
Frost fans… TO lost a lot of close games in the 80s before the 90s… TO also never won less than 9 you god damn morons
If I’m being completely optimistic, with all of the close losses, I could potentially see Nebraska being an attractive destination for players entering the transfer portal like Penn State last year. On the other hand, fuck us.
That was the argument with Bo too. Theyd act like TO winning 9-10 games was the same as Bo winning 9 games when Bo would have an extra game plus a potential conference title game plus a bowl game
Wanna see Stockholm syndrome? FB post: Spoiler For anyone who thinks Nebraska needs to replace Frost as head coach, please unfriend me. This ship is about to fully open the sails and your asses need off the bandwagon before that happens. For most of Husker Nation, all we have asked for win or lose (especially with this nasty tough schedule this year) is that this football team is competitive in each game. How many times over the last 4 years do we get blown out in a game like that? More often than we’d like to admit. Outside of Illinois (clearly a fluke at this point), we have lost to 3 Top 10 football teams with every shot to win each of them. The atmosphere in Memorial Stadium was so damn electric last night. Most fun I’ve had at a game in years. If you cannot appreciate the way the Huskers fought back and played against a good Michigan team with top NFL talent on each level of the defense then we have nothing in common. For anyone around the country watching that game in primetime, respect is being given to the boys in Scarlet and Cream and W’s will start piling up sooner rather than later. My money is on Scott Frost when that happens.
That and “they’re giving us respect!”, when these same people are the ones who have a conspiracy theory ESPN is out to get us. Oh now we care what Herby and Joel Klatt say?
been to two games this year and the atmosphere was similar to a funeral and the students trickled in during the 1st quarter Ws create atmosphere
NW was pretty good, last night was legit though. It was noticeably full like 25min before kickoff and the crowd seemed ready to go. I went to the Buffalo game and it was maybe the worst atmosphere I’ve ever witnessed. I’m sure the last 2 being at night helped but there were noticeable changes to improve it. Last night they finally did a Tunnel Walk video that was similar to the old days where it was more opponent specific not just a bunch of random current day highlights over a generic instrumental.
Yeah Buffalo was horrid. I would just argue a random morning OOC cupcake game is a better indicator of where the fan support is than a big primetime game under the lights against another blue blood. There’s a reason we’re having to juice the sellout streak this season. My point is the Frost era has decreased fan interest, not increased it.
Oh yeah 100% agree. I was just saying I’ll give them credit for at least TRYING to change some of the presentation. I’d assume Trev played a part in that since a couple of weeks ago he talked about the experience and what not. NW and Michigan it felt like they were playing more modern/hyped up music and what not. Buffalo game legit had me questioning if I’d ever go back to a game until something changed it was so miserable.
How does one even become a Lions fan? You either have to be from Michigan or you liked Barry Sanders. There’s really no other way for it to happen.
Son became a huge lions fan when he was young. Huge Ameer guy. Never had a NFL team so adopted them to root with him. What a mistake.
Honest question, no troll but what happens to Frost if you split with Purdue/Minnesota and then lose the last three to OSU, Wisconsin, and Iowa? Is he safe with two wins?
I feel like that might actually be enough to fire him, unless the losses to Wisconsin, OSU, and Iowa are like what we saw last night where the majority of the fanbase would say it’s progress.
I would give this scenario 50/50 odds that Frost is fired to be honest. I feel the most likely outcome is a W vs. both Minnesota and Purdue, losing to Ohio State and Iowa, and Wisconsin is pick ‘em. 5-7/6-6 final regular season record.
