My Mount Rushmore is WS/Ragnarok/IW/Spiderverse I don’t know if it will crack those 4 but it is definitely in the 5 star tier right below with GOTG for me
When they were talking about which building they like to squat on to get it away from it all, half-expecting Tobey to say "the north tower." (Ok, I wasn't really expecting him to say that.) I did watch that WTC trailer for the first one recently. From the Nokia phone to the Lunatic Calm soundtrack, Good Lord, it looks like ancient history.
I’m guessing they could easily say you can’t do that spell with someone who’s already dead. And having to wait almost 6 months for MoM is gonna be fucking painful. Thinking that Strange doesn’t want full blown multiverse chaos, but is hoping to find the Time Stone from a different universe.
Probably going Hawkeye spoiler free in this thread on Jan 3 if that’s ok with everyone? Let people have the next holiday week plus to knock it out if they haven’t already.
It's probably my second favorite Disney + show so far behind Loki. Close between it and Wanda but I think this was more fun overall.
Having finished the Hawkeye series: Spoiler Pugh as Yelena just steals every piece of content she’s in. She was the star of Black Widow. She stole this show. She’s gonna be awesome to watch going forward. The charisma, self-confidence, sarcasm, the badass Viking-esque hairdo! The list just goes on.
Spoiler Flat out she could go toe-to-toe in a scene with RDJ and Cumberbatch, and still shine. Pugh’s charisma on screen is just off the charts.
Spoiler: hawkeye last episode If you were wondering about that Kingpin outfit at the end of the episode...
No idea about the Marvel and Sony contract details, but if they can, Sony is eventually bringing back either the Tobeyverse or Garfieldverse right? Feige gave the casual viewers the ability to understand there’s different Peter Parkers in different universes. If they somehow could do a Tobey/Garfield team up with a Feige appointed writing team, that movie is doing well over a billion dollars.
Finally saw it today and obviously enjoyed it. The nostalgia was great and as others said Garfield got some nice redemption after his bad movies. Toby was great and so were Defoe and Molina. Just a really fun movie until the sadness of the end. I really hope they keep MJ and Ned in the movies because I love their characters. The fact they’re all good friends in real life gives them great chemistry on screen. Holland and Zendeya also are obviously great together. Fuck that was a sad ending but it sets up Holland to be the traditional broke Spider-Man living poor in nyc fighting local crime. Great point by someone earlier that he really had a three movie origin story.
I agree, but Tobey Spider-Man is still enormous box office. Kraven hunting both them down has endless possibilities.
Ive got to be honest. When we went the loudest reaction was the Cox reveal, followed by Garfield. Everyone that’s a fan expected Garfield/McGuire and the MJ save scene. We talked about all of that in here for months. Hearing THE Matt Murdock’s voice sitting down with Spidey, Happy, and May…that was incredible.
I wish my theater went bonkers over Murdock but it was definitely the dudes reminding their wives/gfs that’s the dude from the Netflix show
these hawkeye replies are gonna have me watching this weekend didn’t even think of giving it a chance
they haven’t said officially what is next, but Ms. Marvel is the rumor. that, She-Hulk & Moon Knight all coming next year.
It was shockingly my favorite show of them all. Low stakes but ton of fun moments and character work. Just a great, easy breezy good time.
I don't think it's Ms Marvel. Some stuff I read said it got delayed and won't be out until summer next year. I think it's probably going to be She Hulk.
