Way to many games to be played during a short turnaround. Covid compacted games, tournaments and these guys haven't had time. Now we get the world cup throwing shit upside down.
“After allowing the swelling to go down, Roma carried out scans on Dybala and they revealed an injury to his left rectus femoris (one of the quadricep muscles)” that’s what had me confused about the tweet saying femoral bicep
Napoli seems to be the only team with injury luck thus far. Wonderkid makes Osi missing time a non issue
Helped create separation in the standings too. Was a big win there. For the lackadaisical Euro play they’ve done, league play has been very solid so far
Yeah and the league hasn't won a CL title since...I don't think that's due to Calciopoli though. It's the league's set up where municipalities own the stadiums, ownership issues with many of the top clubs, extremely poor TV right's deals.
Roma has been trying to build a stadium for like half my life at this point. Italian soccer has to modernize at some point.
The Milan stadium project is just as ridiculous. Every week it's some new development and then you read it and it completely ignores whatever was said the week before. I've heard Milan is building alone, then the next week it's with Inter, then the location changes, etc.... I do know Red Bird's main priority is building a new stadium so that's hopeful
It's all political and everyone wants a piece of the pie... I was once hyped and excited about the Milan stadium project and now I have no faith of it happening anytime soon. The mayor of Milan (Sala) basically campaigned on getting the stadium done, won election and changed his tune completely. The last update I read was some major political figures advocating for San Siro to no be demolished even if they build a new stadium next door. The idiots have to much power
Faking the books… who would’ve thought getting paid 20m for some primavera kid who never had hype and never amounted to shit just so you can cook the books would eventually backfire. And they did this as it’s two biggest challengers were essentially broke and a shell. They could’ve still won all those titles and dominated by default. Dipshits… burn
From what I read (via Spurs sources so tifwiw) is that this pertains to Covid pay that was deferred but still paid, which seems ludicrous but this is Juve, so…
Napoli is fun to watch. Osimhen is so damn good and manages to impress me even more every time I watch him.
I don’t think he will. Reports in Italy say momentum is on Milan’s side. I would put money on him being sold this summer.
