Shouldn't be a problem at all, especially getting out.4 days of straight sun. We have had a decent summer of rain, but it's fine.
Is smoking allowed? (cigars/cigarettes). I know 2 years ago Lollapalooza wouldn't let you bring cigarettes in.
Im not sure there is anybody else going as pumped as I am. And I aint just referring to this thread. Hell yes. I thought it was way small in 18 & 19.
I’m ready to go. One of our croo caught the covid so he’s out. Another got a sober bff so they are staying in Soberoo. My brothers flight doesn't come in till Friday. So it’s going to be a weird smaller croo this year.
I'm a little nervous about it. Feel like we're going to forget something we need and overpack/underpack. Need to go out tonight to get another fan and some batteries. Probably make a grocery run Tuesday to get dry foods. Will pick up ice on the way. Wife isn't drinking now, so I'll be the only one with beer, should prevent me from getting too shitty and feeling awful the next day, lol.
This is my second year flying in so my anxiety is all over the place. A couple years ago I mailed all my camping equipment to a friend in Chattanooga so I’m covered on that stuff but I feel you. I’ve got 3 lists going trying to make sure I’m not forgetting anything. My damn rental car better be there
Basically overpacking one checked bag and trying to see what I need at a Chattanooga Walmart. As long as I don't forget my wallet, wristband, camping pass, and covid card I’ll think I’ll be ok. I can’t find my camping portable speaker. Not sure where that got to. I googled several Roo/festival checklists.
I'm packing lighter than ever this year. Don't forget sweats and hoodies/ pants and sleeves of some kind. Gold bond Deo + toiletries Baby wipes TP Ziploc bags Tent stakes and mallet
I went and picked up baby wipes, ziplock bags, Pedialyte, batteries, Advil, ear plugs, uhhh some other stuff.
First aid kit Medicine - scripts and OTC ibuprofen, pepto, day quill, etc. Towels Flip flops for walking around camp + to the pisser Flashlight / headlamp
Fingers crossed the rain let’s up, and the sun blisters to dry it out. And hopefully some people accept a refund.
I'm at Walmart grabbing some stuff and want to just leave my cart in the middle of an aisle and leave. This will blindside the hell out of me. Please don't.
I mean I know I'm not the only one. People like you have flights. But mother fucker man. This is not good. Radiate Positivity
I’m over here in disbelief. The way things have gone it almost seems like more bad news is bound to happen. I hope I’m wrong.
people who have to fly will cancel because they can't afford to be stranded this is fucking awful, I'm so sorry for you all going. The lineup, even with changes, looked amazing
I hope so. What do they do if not enough people get the refund then? A lot of people are already traveling.
Are there staffing/logistical issues that we don’t know about? I saw Railbird day 1 was a disaster last weekend. We went to Voodoo fest in 2018 and it was so muddy. Obviously people don’t camp there but you still had to handle walking in and through massive mud pits.
That first tweet said because of the weather and countless other things so ya sounds like something is up.
That Zone A is swamp marsh anyways. Going back to Pod 1. Hell yes it's flooded out and or will definitely be.
I think it was 2013 when it rained all day Tuesday/Wednesday and people kept getting stuck trying to get through the toll booths. I remember a sedan getting stuck right past the security check and they felt it was a good idea to stand on the gas pedal. Just drenched everything in the security check with mud.
got my pair ready. https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/the...LXdmSPKqZbQHY47jMsQaAm9OEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Make sure you have a tarp that fits properly under your tent. Since its not supposed to rain once we get there, you should be fine if it has some over hang. You don't have to worry about rain water getting under your tent between the tarp. But I forgot about the dew though. Tuck it in This is mud protection.
