Forecast of almost 50 tomorrow, followed by torrential rain beginning in the evening and continuing overnight until it turns to snow, then 7" of snow into Thursday evening before bottoming out around 10 degrees Thursday night. Metro Detroit is going to be an ice rink on Friday.
I can’t wait for this shit to be over. We’re going to enjoy the summer then gtfo before dealing with another winter. Snow is fun in doses but this winter let me know that my thin blood needs to get back south
There are few places I'd rather live than Michigan like May(maybe mid/late April) through Thanksgiving/November. But that Dec-March run can be fucking brutal.
Depends on where you’re at and what model you’re using. Dark Sky shows 7-11 here. Weather Underground shows 6.
You need to take up a winter hobby like skiing or snowmobiling. Makes the winters fun and fly by really.
No where I’d rather live May through October. The rest of the time, this weather is too much for someone from the south.
Well, looks like we gotta play a lot of golf this summer! Can’t say I blame you. This year we’ve actually had some sunshine too!
Absolutely. I have this summer to play as much golf and different tracks as possible. I want to play everywhere. We love everything about it here, except this weather. The people here are fantastic and will be hard to leave
Probably 5-6" inches at this point, but the ice underneath is going to be treacherous. Kids have a snow day tomorrow and I'm working from home. Bottoms up.
https://www.freep.com/story/opinion...ticket-detroit-ilitch-lca-olympia/7216197001/ This is so embarrassing. Fuck the Illitch family.
Think he’s in Arizona now. I feel like he was living in Midland or Bay City though, so I would have bailed too.
Was in Mt Pleasant and actually liked it there simply because was part of the CMU community. But would be rough without ties to the university Really really really miss Dispo in Bay City and my med card edibles prices though gosh
Had a tee time at 10:15 this morning and lol. Putting out on 9, the ball collected enough snow to look like the start of a snowman. I’ll play in any weather but had to pick up. Got Tigers tickets for Thursday. Hopefully the rain is done by first pitch…
Lol the forecast is calling for a rise in temps through Sunday, peaking at 80, only to be in the 40’s this time next week.
Going to Scotland in early May for a golf trip and thought I would have at least 10 rounds in before the trip to get somewhat back in the groove after winter. I was a little wrong on that one. Hopefully I get two in this wknd with no rain.
