It was terrible. I believe it aired on Fox and a young Xander was super excited about it after watching Nick Fury on Spider Man the animated series.
I watched Civil War last night and outside of IW/EG I don’t remember being more excited for a marvel movie. Went back and watched the trailers and while they spoiled a little they were dripping with tension
When the giant "QUEENS" text popped up on screen, it was probably the giddiest kid like joy I've felt since like...before middle school.
“I want to take Mysterio down a path of insanity and nihilism that inspires a revolution against the wealthy and powerful.” “That’s Joker.”
Because he's an Internet blogger that tries to act cool like he's in the know when he doesn't know shit
I don’t think that’s the case but regardless, I think I’m good with the avengers for a while. Cap and Stark being out of the game leave the team a little hollow. Plenty of story options for remaining and new characters.
Marvel is so great at casting. Outside of Downey, there has has been no casting better than Pratt as Star Lord.
I always think back to the story that Glenn Howerton was the original choice but they liked Pratt in the end with his motion picture experience.
IIRC Gunn originally didn’t even consider Pratt for auditioning but was convinced by casting director
?? I like Pratt and all but you could make an argument that he's the weakest of all the main casts. Evans as Cap > Pratt Hemsworth as Thor > Pratt Paul Rudd as Ant Man > Pratt Tom Holland as Spiderman > Pratt
Let’s flip this. What’s your least favorite MCU casting? I still go back and forth on Ruffalo. He has really great times and some, not so much. I think he works for what Marvel ultimately ended up doing with the character, but he definitely wouldn’t have been my first choice.
