Guess it's the time of the year that big clubs will start announcing the poaching of competitors players. I'm sure Bayern will announce Timo Werner for 20mil in a few days. However, Barca beat them to the punch
Bayern expected moves: Signing Malcolm for around €60m Vidal to ManU to join Alexis Lewandowski to Real Rumblings I've seen: Signing Gelson Martins from Sporting CP, Eric Bailey from Leverkusen and one of Kane/Dybala/Morata/Isco with the Lewandowski money.
I just don't get why he would go there right now. He'd be behind Robben, Ribery, and Coman for sure. I imagine you guys have more wingers too
He can stay with Leverkusen for a year til those two are gone, then it’s just Coman, Bailey, and someone like Malcom on the wings (along with a couple that can play the wings as well such as James and Müller).
Arjen has started to noticeably lose steps every week. Franck is still as big a pain in the ass as always, but they're both better suited coming off the bench.
Expect the Hazard to Real Madrid or maybe PSG to heat up as the season winds down and into the summer, especially since it's unlikely we'll make the Champions League.
Lewandowski officially requested a transfer this summer. Was immediately denied. This should be fun until 2021.
ding ding ding Liverpool transfer news: Emre Can issues contract update EMRE CAN says he has made no decision on his future as he enters the final months of his Liverpool contract.
Vidal saying he wants to stay but he's also back in the starting 11. Tolisso is hurt right now but I think i read Can would replace Robben on the right wing.
Rudy was brought in with the understanding that he would be a backup. Not sure Can wants to go from Liverpool to Bayern for that role. But yeah Goretzka, Thiago, Tolisso, and Javi (DM) would start over him.
Bayern to purchase Jann-Fiete Arp, 18 year old striker, from Hamburg. Will be immediately loaned back to Hamburg, who will be relegated next season.
I used to be pretty neutral towards Bayern, but the more I read about them in these transfer threads the more my hate grows.
Basic economics: Buy for free, sell as the best striker in the world at the height of his prime for €100M.
When he had 25 goals in 49 appearances? He has 32 in 37 this year, and 43 in 47 last year, his best year of his career. Sure it’ll likely be downhill from here but hence “the height of his prime” not the height of his value.
