The setting is definitely cool. There are some decent weapons in there too. Midnight Coupe and Inaugural Address we'e as good as it got in year one but they have been suroassur in year two.
He legit tried it maybe twice. It was week one of the raid. I’m p sure he logged off and chiever and I beat it later that night. He MAYBE tried it after that but I don’t think so. Probably day one of the raid
i only raided that first week it was out. haven't really played much since. it just didn't have the destiny feel to me, and i never played any more.
Anyone able to compare destiny to anthem for me after the demo? Anthem hasn't intrigued me at all but curious what others thought after playing it.
Anthem plays a lot like ME3. There’s public events like Destiny, there’s a lost sector like place in the demo. Lot drops mid game, but you can’t get them until you’re done with the activity.
I would say Anthem is more Warframe and Division than Destiny. The only real comparison is the Sci-fi setting and maybe some other small similarities. Gameplay wise I think they are totally different. That said I really enjoyed my time with the demo and will be giving the full game a try.
Not a fan of the loot system. If you get a top tier drop but then lose connection that drop is just gone which is not a good idea in my opinion.
yeah, i'm not really sure what they should do. i dont mind not being able to equip things right away, like turning in engrams in destiny; but it would also be annoying to go back to base every time you got a purple drop.
Yeah, needs to be a postmaster type system tonorevsnt you from losing stuff. I had that hapoen a few times in the demo. Get a drop and then the game fucked up while trying to load back into Fort Tarsas and just lost the loot.
I have an oracle offering I was saving but not sure how to talk to the queen. Rumor is a pretty significant cut scene.
forbes thinks there's something new with the queen, possible thorn. the end of the last word video did show something that resembles needles. i've looked, but cant finda run down of what TLW quest requires.
Yeah got that, the whisper exotic quest and tlw exotic quest. The whisper one is for the worm sniper rifle and is apparently difficult as hell to get.
Yeah, its not too bad. I have had it for quite a while. The Whisper quest has been in the game for a long time they just made it available full time now instead of only on weekends.
i haven't kept up at all. is last word and all this stuff included with forsaken or do you need season pass?
Not sure if it’s Forsaken or Black Forge. I got the quest from the drifter. Forsaken was a great dlc in my opinion. I enjoyed it but I’m a destiny homer.
last word and super buff's the only known additions from the update? edit: there was a scout buff as well
kinda have a destiny urge but is anyone even on pc currently? Lazy? Ogre? doubt i'll fulfill it -- still red deading -- but maybe in the near future.
I haven’t played in a good while. I wish others would jump on the PC train, it truly is the best destiny experience
I'm currently taking a break from it. Have been messing with The Division on PC instead. But Destiny PC puts console versions to shame. Playing console gives me headaches now.
It definitely is. I just can't get all my friends to switch so I stay on console since the game isn't great solo. Bungie could make it better on console though but they refuse. D1 played much better.
Destiny crucible is so different than a lot of other shooters. I feel like it's a different skill set almost. I was always great at Battlefield and Counter Strike and games like that. When I first started playing Destiny PvP I got worked constantly.
Yes. I get worked on because I’m more of a Call of Duty pvp player. I don’t optimize specials and the jumps in crucible as opposed to straight up out shooting people.
