pretty solid interview with Miyazaki that gives some insight far beyond the cryptic e3 trailer. Open world game with a universe and story written by Jar Jar Martin and brought to life by From with what sounds like a variation of the Souls formula. Miyazaki seems excited about the game. So am I.
Author that is extremely talented at world building, collaborating with the best mind in the video game industry (wouldn't be upset if anyone argued Yoko Taro or Kojima)...yeah I'm not seeing any problem with this. I'd choose this over ASOIAF 100% of the time, and I love that series.
I don't care for these type games anyway so it's not like I'm really making a sacrifice. I just like to say fuck RR any chance I get.
Yep, I never will again for sure. Same thing with Valve and Half Life. I hate those fucks for leaving me hanging.
Took a break for a bit from gaming, recently came back and just played through Sekiro through like 4 NG's (what an absolute fucking masterpiece. Miyazaki/From are like the only thing you can count on to not disappoint you in this world). Unfortunately, it flared up my Soulsborne itch and now I'm salty over this. Demon's Souls remake coming sooner rather than later at the very least needs to happen. I'm playing through the Cinders mod right now to try to sustain.
Soulsborne is all I can do with any joy anymore. I just don’t have fun with anything else so this Elden Ring bullshit is killing my vibe
That dragon flying in and wrecking shit in real time is incredible. No cutscene or anything, just here's a dragon now fight it.
Signed up for the Elden Ring Test back a week or so ago. Has anyone received a confirmation email or anything letting them know they are in? I've got absolutely nothing
Trying to go into the game mostly blind as a fan of all FROM SOFTWARE games. But saw a little bit this morning, this going to be good....
From a PVP perspective they’ve gotten rid of R1 spam by giving R1 attacks on every weapon a combo with a 3-5 move set. That’s gonna be such a huge win for PVPers
Idk, for some reason I can’t link YouTube here on my phone but there’s a new Elden Ring cinematic trailer out
