He’s started 12/14 EPL/UCL matches he played in this season and last year was 34/43. I expect last years % to be higher than it was but that’s starting far more than coming off the bench
If Son were dropped in to our team tomorrow, I guess he'd take more minutes off our midfielders than the front three. Just play Bobby behind either Mane or Salah against the bottom half. Origi would get less time, and Brewster wouldn't be thrilled.
Honestly when I asked the question I was wondering if he meant more of a 4231 with all of them starting and a CM dropped
When he’s fit, he’s a penciled in starter. He’s played an unbelievable amount of games over the past few years, so his load has been managed fairly closely.
It seems silly to not also account for the fact that Son has performed at a very high level and make it seem like he hasn’t earned the spot
I know there’s a good job he steps down in 2.5 years but fuck, double his salary, triple it. Do whatever it takes
If only keeping Klopp for 15+ years came down to a money thing. Neil Atkinson has been saying on TAW that this is the best Liverpool side we'll likely see in our lives, and it makes me excited and pre-nostalgic all at once.
I’d play Gomez at RB (is he healthy) to run with Wilf and Trent at LB and just let him play as an auxiliary midfielder. Put Milner in the back line and Zaha will go find him.
Wasn’t that before the new tv deal though? I think Mahrez is more comparable and he was £60m before add ons. Similar age, less pedigree but more versatile and isn’t English/homegrown
Going to be at Anfield for Brighton next Saturday. Get in Friday night, train to London after the game. Have to (Salah Willing) pick up my tickets from a local bloke before the game. Any recs in maximizing the day? Pubs? Stadium before the game? I really wanted to stay for a Boss Night on Saturday but have to get back to London.
It’s a minimum of 4 not a maximum so no one knows for certain. I haven’t kept track other years on how many matches each team ended up having
Amazon prime has rights to December 4th and Boxing Day matches, but I wonder if it’s just for England.
I’d be very surprised if NBC this year didn’t have those matches when they’ve had them the other years of the contract
Perhaps my direct tv directory is wrong. The site I use now claims we are the TV game, so that’s a great sign for us
I quoted you about the Amazon prime not Merseyside Derby NBC doesn’t say this far out who they’d be showing though
MSNBC, NBC, and NBC Sports maybe, but probably not USA or TBS now if you're talking about Champions League those channels would be in play.
BTW SiriusXM should be fucking embarrassed they don't have a contract with CL worth a fucking shit. How does Champions League not have a radio contract in America?
