Damn near came back in the 4th quarter, but I hope so much of this was the fact that they had just played last night in a city 1000 miles away.
We just quite can't close the gap after the Nets run to end the third. But Hunter is showing out so that's nice.
Capela has been ass tonight Trae has been meh outside the first 10 minutes Dre and Huerter have been bright spots Cam looks at Durant and thinks he sees his equal, sometimes that’s good, sometimes that’s not
This part of the schedule is ridiculous. I mean wtf. Sat, 10/30 @PHI Mon, 11/1vsWSH Wed, 11/3 @BKN Thu, 11/4 vs UTAH Sat, 11/6@PHX Mon, 11/8@GS Tue, 11/9@UTAH Fri, 11/12@DEN Sun, 11/14vsMIL
clint needs to get his shit together on that end and Cam can fuck off with his terrible gambles and shot selection to boot. build the ENTIRE offense around Trae and John. They are the only ones bringing it the past 3 weeks
there isnt much I credit Danny Manning for, but his development of JC from just being a bouncy rim runner to a kid with a legit low post game was top notch. But h/t to JC for always working his ass off.
he’s added tools to his game every year. Every aspect of his game has improved and he plays his ass off every night
the last 6-7 games he’s doing less out of control dribbling and more catch and shoot in rhythm. also not having him as the primary ball handler with the second unit like he was in the early part of the season has been good. Nate letting Collins get run with the second unit is really good too.
Was trying to find the thread but that stretch midway thru the 4th he was just hitting from absolutely everywhere. It was incredible to watch
Capela back in shape Huerter shooting better Wright/Lou handling the ball on the second unit Cam taking shots within the flow Hunter was frustrating me because he was a ball stopper when healthy, but I also understand he was trying to get back in the flow.
Yeah, Memphis is a little too workmanlike without a healthy Ja. Hope he gets back in the next week or so. Didn’t look too serious but it was a very weird injury. JC is up to fifth in Fivethirtyeight Raptor overall. He really needs to make the All-Star team this year. His dribbling off the corner close out and elbow has been night and day from last season. Hawks need to get his usage rate up (down 3% this year) to the past three seasons because he can handle that no problem without a drop in efficiency.
Hate it for Ja Capela is back to being Capela and that’s problematic for the east oh And we get OO back in a month
