5 years ago our best players were playing for seattle, toronto, hertha, and mönchengladbach now they play for barça, juve, chelsea, bvb, and rb leipzig
tbh I feel pretty privileged to have this be the first new generation of USMNT talent available to follow since getting into the sport a couple years ago
He played their opener last week. I watched some of the first half yesterday and he didn’t really stand out good or bad. Appears 2nd half went extremely poorly
Not good but also not bad. Incredibly average. Rating seems to reflect that. Whoscored has at 6.0, FOTMob at 5.9
I fear that our Euro players are going to sit this one out after the rushed end of 19/20 season, a shortened break, and a more condensed 20/21 season.
They’ve done so well not only with their transfers but also youth development that surely this will be nothing but a rousing success.
My disdain for Barca aside, the recent record of squandering and stifling the development of promising talent speaks for itself
I could only pay so much attention while working but he didn’t have a ton to do. Looked good, good distribution and kept clean sheet
Y’all can’t even get some of the best players in the world to produce in Hazard and Bale. Pot meet Kettle.
I mean he’s technically an American but not like he’s born and raised in the States, he’s more influenced from growing up and playing in Holland so it’s not that surprising a talented Dutchman is signed by Barca in reality
