When it comes down to it, Wolves are still a selling club, not a buying club. So not sure you can say they fucked up. If a player wants out and you’re Wolves, what are you to do?
The athletic article about him the other day said that Nuno thought he had to move on to take it to the next level. Jota needed a team with more scoring chances
Yeah, I understand but they were very vocal about how awful we did by buying their "4th" choice winger for so much
I don't know that they fucked up selling cause they got what everyone thought was a good price. I just can't figure out how he wasn't starting for them. Podence must be something else.
No they did good business, just saying about the fans. I think Wolves have done really well in business the last few years
Imagine at the beginning before he gets into the part about television schedules that he’s talking about the stupidity of not continuing 5 subs this season?
he’s the fucking best. Of all the coaches of all the teams I’ve ever rooted for, he’s my favorite by a mile
Yes. And he explained they now have the manager votes to pass it, but I am unsure of how this proceeds.
I got no idea. Just I wouldn’t risk Matip, Tsimikas needs to play, Fabinho is coming off injury, and we got depth up front. Course Klopp could just decide that a win wins the group and play Jota, Salah, Mane, and Firmino again.
Fair point, probably need a decent mix of backups and see how it’s going by halftime Ajax or Atalanta could theoretically win out and get 13 points, and you’re sitting at 9, so a draw against either Atalanta/Ajax and a win vs Midtjylland probably wins you the group on differential
We don’t even have mid fielders to sub on anymore. Fab is not midfield now. Hendo, naby, shaq, ox, and Thiago all out. Down to gini and Curtis. Just insane to think about.
