the coach, Trae Young, and everyone else in Atlanta who spend all their time around him think otherwise I’m curious to see where Cam Reddish goes next season. LP: I call him Cam Motherf—— Reddish because I think he’s a bad man. I think he’s really going to turn out to be something extremely special. I want him to have the toughest mentality. I want him to think he’s the greatest player in the NBA. I want him to believe it because he’s got an opportunity with this potential, his skill set, his size, his confidence, he’s got an opportunity to really do something special. I’m trying to really bring that out of him. He’s a young guy. He’s only 20 years old. It’s scary. But we all want it now. That’s the challenge, but I’m going to be patient with him. I’m also going to challenge him to get the most out of everything he has
Capela has never played for the Hawks, Collins spent half of last year suspended, and Reddish, Hunter, and Huerter are have barely started their careers.
“I want him to have the toughest mentality. I want him to think he’s the greatest player in the NBA” are things you have to say to players who are soft as baby shit, the kind of guys who sit out of Sweet 16 games with fake injuries.
I don't give the slightest shit about role players on a bottom 10 team, I was responding to a troll. Thanks!
I'm sure everyone in the NBA would prefer to have the Charlotte Hornets roster full of role players instead of Trae Young, John Collins, Clint Capela, Cam Reddish, Deandre Hunter, Kevin Huerter, a 6th pick, and $40+ million in cap space.
most people who like watching better basketball teams would prefer us. known idiots like you would prefer to watch objectively inferior teams like the hawks
also lol at saying $40m in cap for next year is why the hawks shoulda been allowed in the bubble this year Gaknight i will defend you against anyone who accuses you of trolling until the day i die because you’re clearly not and are in fact just an idiot
when did I say the $40 mil in cap space is why the Hawks weren’t allowed in the bubble? You do bring up a good point. It’s curious the NBA didn’t want to see Trae, Collins, the Hawks debut of Capela, and the vastly improving Cam Reddish play together in the Bubble or every upcoming FA would be banging on a certain door.
I’m glad to know the Hornets celebrate shitty seasons as success. In Atlanta, where it’s not uncommon to go months without losing or making the playoffs, we expect more from our guys and are building the next great Hawks squad.
you can’t go from whining about a conspiracy to keep the hawks outta the bubble to getting mad about me pointing out how the hornets were objectively a better team for the bubble
What the fuck are you talking about. The Hawks have made the conference finals once since 1970, and have an all time regular season record under .500.
Did I mention conference finals? We just got off a run of making the playoffs like 10 years in a row and I will take your little all NBA teams seriously when a guy(Zion) that missed 2/3 of the season isn't on it.
Easily unanimous? How would you even tell if something is easily unanimous? And either all rookie teams have value or they don't, you can't have it both ways
Trae got on the team despite all the weird hate and propaganda going against him since it's "cool" to hate him. Guys like Zion and Luka are pushed for these undeserving accomplishments because the NBA money machine is pushing them for cash.
I always knew that following Atlanta sports rots the heart and soul, but we can add brain to the list as well
Luka's games against the Clippers used to be impressive. Knowing what we know now, he should have been able to push the Mavs past an overrated Clippers team.
