Just imagine if Milton was healthy. This was supposed to be our year anyways with all the talent we had becoming upper classmen.
Once we were afraid, we were petrified. Thinking all we ever did was run to the inside. And we all spent so many nights thinking how George did us wrong, but I grew strong. Now we all listen to the dong.
Not that we need help at WR but just saw that Dredrick Snelson went undrafted and then was cut from the Jags practice squad over the summer. Should have stayed an extra year.
Gabe is definitely gone. Pretty sure his family needs him to. Him and Grant are 100% gone early. Nixon would probably be dumb to do so. Not sure if someone like McCrae would consider leaving and/or he would even get drafted.
Earlier I saw a projected radar for Saturday afternoon, looks like a good chance it'll be a rainy game, which favors us with our running backs and hurts the passing game I would think
Depth chart says DG or BW (with DG listed first). But now that Mack is better, who knows. If I had to guess, DG gets the start and Mack and BW are sprinkled in if DG starts to get overwhelmed
So we're really building this thing for next year. #Texas Tech Red Raiders do you guys open your lazy river for tailgating activities?
Is yours right next to the stadium? Hell I'd take it a step further and sell $10 game passes for the river and put one of those giant outdoor inflatable projector screens out there for the game itself.
You guys are the only school I can think of with one so thought I'd check if we ripped the idea off from you. I really want to do this but $2500 for 7 games is crazy.
No, but it’s not too far of a walk - there’s usually people tailgating over by the Rec Center, which it’s attached to
I was thinking about that when they turned away like 10k students last game. They need an overflow party area near the stadium with screens. Sell food and drink and make some money.
You’re safe. BW almost certainly won’t play, and maybe if things are in hand we see Mack get some snaps.
Read something that DG has lead 15 drives so far and 10 have resulted in TDs. And zero turnovers. So yea I'd expect to keep that guy in until further notice
What's the story with wimbush? Is he depressed he wont play, some other mental issue going on or what? Diva thing or actually serious?
If you kinda read between the lines from Heup, it looks like mental health issues keeping him out currently. I feel for the kid with what’s going on, and by all accounts he’s a great guy. Either way, I think DG is the guy for the job. I just hope BW can be in the QB room in good health.
It probably has to do with the QB competition but it also probably has a lot to do with this being his last year in college and the uncertainty of what comes next. That’s pretty normal for anyone about to leave college and go out in the real world. The uncertainty of it is probably magnified if you are a high level athlete and/or already have some mental health issues
We lost to LSU by 8 last year with Mack. Stanford ain't close to LSUs level and we're at home. We could win this game with Troy Green as QB1.
Quick google research of our 4th best QB of all time has found that his dad was diagnosed with ALS in 2016. Troy was still supporting UCF in 2017…
Our ends better feast. Tackle Walker Little, a first-team preseason Associated Press All-American, was declared out for the season by Shaw, who had said last week he thought Little would return by midseason. In addition, the other starting tackle, Foster Sarell, is considered doubtful for the UCF game with an undisclosed injury.
Weather is supposed to be shitty so if our defense can hold up and RBs can keep dominating, I like our chances.
Mack gets the Tebow to Gabriel’s Leak package. Just come in on shirt yardage shit and get the 4yds needed.
