Rovell has a table here at the big sports card show in Chicago can't believe I forgot to show him this thread
I can’t keep track of his age but he was likely in his 20s in 2004 and ran it in 5:07, which is embarrassing….much like most of his athletic achievements. Oprah ran it in under 4:30 for context.
Amazing that a guy with 2 million followers, is only getting like 100 likes on things. Did he buy a bunch of fake followers?
He was his HS mascot. That’s on brand. Of course they never had one before so he started the shit too. Unreal
He claims he worked 5 hours per week on his Fantasy Baseball team? That's either pathetic that he actually spent that much time on it or pathetic that he lied about spending that much time on it.
Perhaps my favorite gym class ever was individual and dual sports (I and II). Played croquet, horseshoes, and badminton. For a full year. Worst was volleyball. First period. Insane looking back at that and realizing they had us playing full on volleyball matches at 7:30AM on a muggy Florida morning. Lunch at 10:30AM. Smelling like shit and Axe body spray the rest of the day.
Commissioner. And it was probably Strat-O-Matic baseball. That can get pretty time intensive but can be really entertaining.
back then you had to buy a paper every morning and manually calculate the scores by going through box scores. I’m old enough to have done it and it was brutal.
Parents and grandparents. My parents recently found a ticket to my high school graduation in my grandmother's house after she passed away. My grandmother didn't even go to my graduation.
Weird that she kept it for 25 years when she didn't even go and I hardly knew her. All we could guess was my parents sent a set to my grandparents in case they wanted to go.
