You have their entire catalogue They’re the only music you can listen to ever again You must listen one hour every single day forever No tricks like drowning it out, turning it down, ear plugs, going deaf on purpose, etc. You’re stuck. Must be full songs. No skipping. No interlude, skits, etc on repeat.
Oh no, what if I was forced to do a thing I already do! My workout buddy, Chris Pratt, and me always jam Creed when we go on our runs through the woods
Creed. My Own Prison was a great opening album. Human Clay was their peak. Weathered was meh. Nickleback is the same damn song on repeat, and they overplayed Lips of an Angel so much my stomach clenches every time I hear it.
Hold me now, I’m 6 feet from the edge and I’m thinking maybe 6 feet ain’t so far down. So he’s sad and quite a ways away from the edge of his back deck? He’s not even close to a jumping distance, and if he did jump it’s a broken ankle probably at worst.
I couldn’t name a Hinder song if my life depended on it. Id prefer Nickelback to Creed though, I think.
Coming off of prednisone and shooting bullets into the walls of your house to avoid killing yourself because you think Creed band mates want you to off yourself like Kurt Cobain for album sales is…something. So is jumping 40 feet off a balcony in a suicide attempt and getting saved by T.I. So is fighting the entirety of the band 311
"Lips of an Angel" is the best song of any of the three bands, but Hinder is the worst band. Creed is probably the douchiest, but their music is not as bad as Nickelback's.
yeah I'm sure I know Hinder songs but I wouldn't be able to distinguish them from a number of bands on alt-rock radio that all sound the same I'd go Creed here if I had to though
I like the freckles on your chest And I like the way you like me best And I like the way you're not impressed While you put me to the test I like the white stains on your dress And I love the way you pass the check And I love the good times that you wreck And I love your lack of self-respect While you're passed out on the deck I love my hands around your neck Like c'mon how can you not be in awe of this lyricism? If you ask me, not too many people outside of Kendrick rival Nickelback's songwriting and lyrics.
Not picking Creed for this exercise is just a big fat lie to yourself and you all know it. Higher, Arms Wide Open, My Sacrifice, One Last Breath, My Own Prison, Faceless Man, Wrong Way, and any number of other hits would tower over even the best songs Nickelback or Hinder could throw out there. The guitar, the lyrics, the vocals, it all dominates the airwaves. I pride myself and think of myself as a man of faith as there’s a drive into deep left by castellanos and that’ll be a home run. Creed by a fucking mile.
I went with Creed but I could honestly do Creed or Nickelback as background music if I had to. Hinder would start to grate on me even in the background.
My Own Prison was a legitimately good album when it came out when I was in junior high in 97 and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise.
