I’ve learned not to trust the OC’s that brady has made look amazing and lol at any KC OC Nagy was a genius remember!
And I feel the same way about Kellen Moore do we really want that guy as HC? being a coordinator and being HC is a completely different animal
This is a really funny tweet when you look at the 3 names in parentheses and then you try to make it sound like Ross isn't absolutely correct in which side he chose in the instances.
He had to deal with Wentz and look how that worked out for Wentz (he still stinks). I think he’d do well.
The amount of people gargling this guy's nuts today is odd. You can tell people really didn't pay attention at all to the team and they really did think Tua was the only reason we sucked.
Buddy just made a good point. These are the same people slamming the dolphins for being pretenders during the win streak. But now they're super impressed.
BUT HE WON 7 GAMES AND DUG THEM OUT OF A HOLE... Like mother fucker how did they get there in the first place You'd think Flores was an interim coach and some god awful coach was there before and made all these bad things happen Flores had to clean up or something. Thing is Flores isn't even that bad. He was just never going to win here and it sounds like Grier was actively working against him as well. Ross not firing them both was an awful decision. If two people are a problem don't choose between them either fix the relationship or dump them both. Ross is an idiot
A lot of different stuff coming out on the podcasts -Tua/Flo’s relationship became so bad they haven’t spoken in weeks -Flo was asked to make offensive changes Sunday night, he was fired the next morning…so assume he said no -a lot of instances of altercations in the locker room between Flo and his assistants -as we all saw the OC position was a disaster with godsey not calling plays after the preseason, then he was again at some point etc -Flo was the driving forces behind the Watson stuff inside the building, Grier didn’t feel comfortable with the asking price and ultimately Ross decided not to go forward obviously now that Flo is gone a lot of skeletons are coming out so take it FWIW But you don’t have to be some insider to see that Flo’s offensive hires specifically OC and OL coaches have been a disaster and he provably should have fired both his OC’s and OL’s again this off-season
And last seasons OC search that culminated in promoting two guys because we struck out everywhere else didn't inspire much confidence he'd have gotten the offensive staff issues fixed. And hiring a first time OL coach to coach up a line full of rookies and second year players was questionable to say the least.
He literally downgraded every year with his OC and OL. He had to bring Chan Fucking Gailey out of retirement. The guy had thrown away all his notes because he was done with football. Nobody wanted to work for Flores. If that isn't the world's biggest red flag.
I hate Grier and he deserves a shit ton of blame for the OL misses in the draft but he doesn’t coach those guys or decided on who does he also can’t fully be blamed for the FA decisions as Flo had his hand in that plenty
If they had fired him after the 7 game losing streak, the headline would be much different. Also, if there is so much interest in Flo, why not try to trade him and get an asset? Wouldn't be the first time it happened.
Meh, ANYWAYS. Perfect place for Flores would honestly be the Raiders imo. If he goes to Chicago it's going to be the same shit all over again.
Also- is this a dumb take? is it a legitimate to wonder if NFL players will follow a HC that is 5’9, 150 lbs who went to Yale, has spent only one season at even the coordinator level, and looks like he could be the illegitimate child of Mark Trestman?
Let’s just sit back and watch this evil genius put together an air assault with Tua, waddle and Jameson
IIRC the shanahan scheme is different than what Flo ran, believe it’s a lot of zone blocking hey let’s try that
