In interviews he's given it really seemed like it was his choice. He obviously rehabbed it to the point where it was strong enough to win an NCAA title. Carson Kharchla did the same thing. Personally, if it was me, I would just repair it and get it out of the way, but I can't pretend like I'm an expert or know what's best. I'm assuming these athletes, their families, and coaches have done their due diligence before deciding whether or not to surgically repair their torn ACLs.
We did it with Nato and he's been a mess with his knees since and Kharchla has his issues Don't like it at all
ASU and ISU were supposed to have a dual tonight but that got canceled a few days ago. Bummer, would have been fun to see that live
Correct, we did not have Vasquez(#15 at 141) and Norfleet at 197. Got pinned in both spots, so, despite winning 6/10 matches they lost the dual
Would anyone like to purchase my #Ohio State Buckeyes vs #Iowa Hawkeyes tickets for Friday? Not able to go, it's a pair. Floor seats PM for details. They're digital tickets
Iowa has Sanctioned girls HS wrestling , making it an official school sport for the 2022-2023 season. I hate alot of things about this state, but I happen to think this is pretty freaking cool.
I also look forward to watching my 4 y/o niece when she starts next year because she is a freaking psycho. She regularly goes and scraps with her older brother at practice and kicks some of those kids asses(k-2nd)
I liked the way our guys battled against Iowa. My biggest takeaway was how Tony Cassiopi looks like an entirely different human. What a transformation.
Apparently there are some pretty hurt feelings in our program about how this was handled. Our coaches don’t think it was a legit forfeit, for some reason. From our wrestling insider Spoiler Obviously, there was disappointment around NC State wrestling, to say it mildly, over the turn of events that led to the cancellation of a dual match Friday against Virginia Tech. Anger would actually be a more accurate term. At contention is, in a nutshell, some distrust on NC State’s side over how forthcoming the Hokies wrestling program was about everything. Rumors have ranged from potentially a pair of starters in COVID-19 protocols to as many as eight within the Virginia Tech program (which, would lead to the question, how many weights are impacted?). There is a lingering feeling in Raleigh that those could really be a cover for other underlying issues and concerns the Hokies had going into the matchup and gave Virginia Tech an out to try and reschedule the match for later. There was no real good place to put it on the schedule for NC State and Virginia Tech. According to a well-placed source, the weekend that Virginia Tech proposed is one in which the Pack already had a competitive dual scheduled and the Hokies did not.
CMU with a nice 21-17 dual win over South Dakota St yesterday, 7 dual wins in a row Dresden Simon, Corbyn Munson and Johnny Lovett are very solid at 141-149-157
I was sent a picture of the car this morning and I thought for sure it was fake. It is not. Miracle he's alive.
