I thought it was more of several pac 12 schools being pussys and wanting easier non conference schedules
I think the commissioners agreed to the partnership thing, but Scott didn't have the support of the schools and it got shot down. Which is when everyone should have known Larry Scott was going to be a train wreck.
So I might’ve missed it, but is there any truth to the deal where if they give 18 months notice they can buyout of the Big XII grant of rights?
The Oklahoman article I posted yesterday said that. But the buyout would be really expensive. Lawyers are about to do some lawyerin’.
yall will just spread out the $75m over [x] number of years, or just wait it out until 2025 (which is a 1 year delay until you get the ESPN/ABC money) my guess is the SEC tv deal with UT/OU will be a bit more than $60m per year
I think that’s right actually. My recollection is it broke down because the conferences agreed to play based on rankings and some of the pac 12 teams wanted to be able to play down
Seriously wish AAC had the ability to just grab WVU and like anyone but Baylor and finish off the b12. It has such a less interesting road trip setup.
Just schedule their first conference game in Pullman. They won’t even know they are on the West Coast.
Kansas and Oklahoma legislatures about to pass Medicare expansion to secure a P12 spot for their ag schools
Listen here tegg, if you keep up with this sass, I’ll track down one of the many Ole Miss sports journalists who hate Ole Miss and have them do an expose on you.
