Gonna be tough and skip the battle pass this year even though I like pro dota. And also hit 1k last year for the replica. Dont need it again or the bullshit that comes with.
i would recommend NOT buying it because fuck TI in China and throwing NA lans under the bus because chinese whales buy so many BP levels. it's been enough time where people forget that valve lied repeatedly to the community but fuck them
NiP beats VC easily. NiP vs EG next round! Also Liquid was one game away from an all EU upper bracket.
I think EG looks great and will maul them in 2 games. Rtz is playing out of his mind. I do think PPD led teams over perform every TI though.

Oh SHIT. There’s some sweet updates in this. Add players to your party queue pool on the fly after games to party with non-toxic players that aren’t on friends list. That’s amazing. Avoid player feature. Remove players out of your matchmaking pool. Never do I have to play against BrickTamland ever again.
I did a coaching game because I was eating, was actually pretty enjoyable. My team actually listened except my treant went midas aghs instead of meteor hammer, but otherwise was really good time.
pain up 19-3 against liquid liquid gets 2 ganks mid on TA/ES, rest of pain is ratting bot t2 liquid marches down and gets rax while pain only takes t3 liquid wins the next 2 team fights and it's now 20-12 pain
almost have the dazzle skin unlocked in the jungle. turbo is the way to go. unlocked the new terrain, it looks nice but i think i prefer desert. the trees are smaller in desert so it's easier to see pathing/heroes.
Decided to hop back on some dotes yesterday. >Play offlane Tide >Playing against Drow, Invoker, Spec >Have obvious account booster/seller as my mid SF >Communicates only via chat wheel, sarcastically spamming "Well played" when someone on his team dies, clicking various abilities of teammates when he dies, and spam pinging teammates. (Instead of trying to help get everyone to group up and win the game before our inevitable late game loss) >Gets really upset that his bad teammates- that he intentionally queued into on his shitty low level account- are bad >sells all items at 35 minutes and pulls a Chappie, buying a shadow amulet and AFKing until game ends >K, that's enough dota for the day
that NiP - EG series was actually really fun to watch fully expect NiP to lose to LGD but maybe they are better now. and they are qualified for TI.
Being able to buy 100 levels as opposed to 50 at a discount this year probably helped a ton. This pass also has a ton of content compared to other years.
Yeah I was like no way that’s really him but I checked his profile. Gave him a gg and I enjoy your content suns He played pretty well. The queue took forever so I think the game had a good range of mmrs in it
I think the frog needs to pretty much re-work him because with the way he is right now, balancing his abilities seems almost impossible. He's picked almost entirely for one broken spell in mist coil. Being able to deny yourself means you essentially have unlimited, safe, effective harass during laning stage, and your safelane never has to use the courier because Abba has free trips back to base. The second that one spell goes from broken to balanced, the whole hero goes from first pick worthy to hot garbage. Shield is really good in some games but does almost nothing in others. His E might be the worst ability in the entire game. Strength hero with dogshit agility gain that you can't play as a carry/won't ever have a ton of farm means that you will basically never be able to hit anyone four times in quick succession. Maybe just make it so that denying yourself adds time onto your death timer like being killed by neutrals so your carry actually has to be alone for a little bit if you do it.
anyone agree with me? i've thought this for a while but finally made a post to see if 1. this has occurred before in pro matches and someone will show me or 2. if others agree with me. if alch could give non-aghs/moonshard items, i'd argue he'd prioritize those ASAP. he'd rush butterfly for drow, eblade for morph, etc. so my argument is that he should be rushing aghs (at a certain point... after he's a good hero and has bkb) where aghs really transforms heroes. for example: lion, necro, disruptor, shaman, zeus, treant, ursa, etc. this not only makes those heroes stronger earlier (and shares the net worth advantage across the entire team), but it frees up the 4k net worth to allow for better itemization. if you have a faceless void and lion and they each have aghs at 25 min, i think that's a bigger deal than having an Alch with a 25 min AC and BoTs rather than a 30 min AC and BoTs.
I'm not saying you're wrong or anything, because as you said, it could be situational, but just a couple things probably worth considering: -At 25 minutes or so, in most games supports won't even have their level 3 ultimates yet. So the aghs' don't do as much when the cooldowns are way higher/the spells are less effective, etc. -The extra items on an alch (Like say, an Octarine) allows him to farm even faster. So thinking about it in terms of an investment, getting an octarine before giving scepters will allow him to farm both before he would have been able to had the order been switched. -Every time an alchemist dies, it's really bad for his team for the same reason it's bad for a meepo. When you have an alch, your team: 1. always has the gold lead by a lot (or if you don't, you're not winning the game anyway) and 2: Alch is always the hero in the top net worth spot in the game. So him dying always gives a fuck ton of gold to the other team through the comeback mechanic equation. (Plus It slows him down a lot and makes him even easier to kill again and again) So it's kind of always important for him to keep getting items and stay so far ahead that he's an un-killable monster.
i hear you on #1 and #2. i actually addressed #3 in one of my comments because i think it actually helps Alch's team, assuming i understand how the net worth calc work. Alchemist drafts often fail when Alch is ganked and feeds a lot of gold midgame. When Alch has given away some of his gold, his net worth would no longer be as significant and so that death wouldn't shift gold as much as it usually would. Obviously, though, if a pos5 with the Aghs dies as often as a regular pos5 dies, that's not good because he's worth more than he normally would be but I think that would be pretty irrelevant because he'd still be bottom of his team. maybe i'm wrong though.
IIRC the amount Alch himself has doesn't factor in, just the amount the team has and where 1-5 Alch is in the pecking order. It's been a while since I looked it up though.
https://dota2.gamepedia.com/Gold#Hero_kills hero kill gold is all about hero levels and alch is really no different than a flash farmer (so he's different than meepo). assist gold very much depends on net worth and net worth "rankings"
