Gran Turismo 7 Ghostwire Tokyo Tiny Tina's Wonderland Strangers of Paradise Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga Sifu. I've only played Strangers of Paradise (would not recommend) and Lego Star Wars (definitely recommend).
Yeah it’s dry out there for new releases especially if you aren’t into Elden Ring it’s so bad out there I’m trying out new quest mods in Skyrim just to have something new in my life
Try Death's Door, I'm playing it on PC Game Pass but its so good I'll probably buy it for PlayStation at some point.
I want to try it too, not sure I want to pay full price (even though it is $40, IIRC). I just bought Bayonetta and Vanquish combo, and the Mega Man X Legacy Collection on the PSN sale too, lol. I will never ever catch up on my backlog.
Yeah its incredible. I finally broke down and got PC Game Pass so I'm playing 2 hours of each game that intrigues me and writing mini-reviews for them. So far I've done Trek to Yomi, Carrion, and Death's Door. Carrion is excellent, Death's Door is the only one I know I will play all the way through.
Slay the Spire, Octopath Traveler, Outer Wilds, Nobody Saves the World and Curse of the Dead Gods are my gamepass recs. Vampire Survivors and The Forgotten City I can't recommend enough
I'll probably do several of those, I have Outer Wilds on PlayStation, started it and I know it is awesome, just need to go back to it. Thanks for the recs!

Ok, I’ve played 3 levels so far…seems like they really want you to infiltrate more than snipe. Which I don’t mind at all because I love stealth games. Less open spaces, more giant chateaus. Also, since your reputation has grown there’s a lot more counter snipers. One level alone had 5 snipers. Took one out from 325 meters. Basically more of the same except less opportunities to just set up and take a million guys out from one spot. Also, you get more points for going non-lethal…but fuck that…they’re Nazis for God’s sake
where the fuck is this beckendorf guy. I swear I shot a guy that looked just like him but it says the mission is still active. I think I killed every nazi on the Atlantic wall. Do you have to confirm a kill or something?
Could be a glitch. May need to restart the level. Same thing happened to me when I sabotaged the furnace in the factory level. Did everything to sabotage it, but it didn’t blow. Had to restart the level and it worked
They typically do that with games when the sequel's release is imminent, in order to garner more interest for the next game. Standard Sony policy, just looks bad because it has been out there in those other forums as mentioned. But they were kinda stuck, if they hadn't put it on Plus before or done those sales, people would have been howling.
My review of Super Perils of Baking, fun SNES-style platformer https://www.superjumpmagazine.com/super-perils-of-baking-review/
Idk it just wasn’t aimed at me. RE4 remake looks cool if they don’t cut any of the content. That’s the best Resident Evil imo other than that just wasn’t anything I find interesting
Irush , I don't know what you watched but for what they said they were going to deliver, that was a massive showing. Understand you weren't into anything there but that was objectively earth-shaking for a huge portion of the gaming world. For those who didn't watch, here's what was there: Resident Evil 4 Remake announced, March 24th 2023, will have PSVR2 content. RE8 for PSVR2 Walking Dead Saints and Sinners 2 for PSVR2, coming this year. Not sure if that means PSVR2 will launch this year or not. No Man's Sky for PSVR2. Longer trailer for Horizon Call of the Mountain, looks sick. Horizon Forbidden West got an update today with NG+, Outfit transmogging, new weapons and trophies, and Ultra Hard difficulty mode. Spider Man Remastered going to PC August 12th. Stray launches July 19th, included with PS Plus Extra at launch. Callisto Protocol with a gorgeous trailer, so much Dead Space vibes, launched December 2nd. RollerDrome (from the maker of OlliOlli), cel-shaded roller derby 3rd person shooter thing, actually looks pretty badass, coming in August. Anime action game, Eternights, actually looks pretty cool for the Persona crowd. Early 2023. Street Fighter 6 lots of gameplay, I didn't realize it was going to be open-world like? Looks pretty good, 2023 date, you need to watch it as I'm not doing it justice. Tunic coming to PS4/PS5 on 9/27 Seasons coming to PS4/PS5 later this year. Big Final Fantasy 16 trailer, Summer 2023 release window, looks really incredible, lots of focus on the Summons apparently, again you gotta watch it.
There was no filler, just went full speed the whole time, this was part of Summer Game Fest so they needed to go hard but, being Sony, I didn't expect them to do it.
BioWare announcing the name of the next Dragon Age was more exciting than most of what was shown maybe I’m just out of touch man
Not out of touch, it just wasn't for you, like you said. I cover the industry and love games as a whole, so everything is interesting to me. I know not everyone is like that
A lot of people feel the same, but remember how pissed everyone was for doing 4 games at their last E3, they weren't always great.
Not related, but I'm publishing an article tomorrow on my first PC Game Pass games. I decided to play everything for 2 hours each and see what sticks, its the only way I'll get through any portion of what I want to play on there, same policy I'll use to eventually get through my backlog. I played Trek to Yomi, Carrion and Death's Door for the first three.
I actually enjoyed the show, too. - Callisto looks incredible. -The VR titles look fine, but not sure if it will convince me to get a VR2. I think playing No Man's Sky on it would be fun to play, though -Stray gameplay looked right up my alley. Free on PS+ so I'll definitely check that out. -RollerDrome gameplay was wild, and any game like this from the OlliOlli people gets my interest. -Fighting games aren't really my thing, but SF6 looked really good. -FFXVI combat looked really smooth. I think I read that there's a former Devil May Cry dev working on this, and you can tell by the combat. Only thing that worries me is no part of the trailer showed other party members. Only combat from the main character and the summons.
Watch The Game Awards when it comes around. Feel like that’s becoming the standard for surprise announcements now
Keighley does that plus Summer Games Fest coming up in a couple weeks and he does Opening Night Live before Gamescom each year as well. He has taken over the E3 market.
