I'll catch the Nashville or Duluth show. Disappointed that they're touring again before releasing any new material. Beginning to think we may not get another album.(hopefully I'm dead wrong)
I will be at the Nashville show and any TMBers not from the area are welcome to crash at my place about 30 min away.
Wherever is good with me. I need to hurry and see if any friends are going to go with me, I'd hate to buy a ticket solo but I will because it's fucking Tool.
saw them about 8 yrs ago. it was pretty fun. honestly, I'm not a huge fan, but I wanted to see the spectacle.
Anything new they put out will probably suck because they're in their 50s. It sucks when bands get old.
Just got my tickets... $114 with fees. This better be good because that is a straight up highway robbery. I'm guessing they're probably going to sell out in a few minutes if they haven't already. At least I'm at the front of the stage...
For what show? I'm trying to get tickets to the Nashville show that went on sale like 5 min ago and I can't find 2 at all
Dallas. I'm guessing they is gone now Got 4 for myself and friends. Feel pretty fortunate considering I entered the online waiting room for tickets 10 minutes before they went on sale
What time did that show go on sale? Didn't realize there was a waiting room but I logged on a min or two before noon here and of course the website crashed when it went live but when I refresehed the page a few seconds later it told me nothing was available. I expected it to be popular but no way they sold the ~15,000 non-presale seats in less than a minute
For serious? They are masters of increasing the demand for their product by drastically limiting the supply.
Its a phenomenal product they are selling.. I wish I could go this time around. Best shows I've ever seen.
tool has sold out shows for a long time. also, like any big show, scalpers got a lot of tickets. would never pay $250 to see them like dude above unless the played a much more varied set than they have the past 10 years.
Maybe this was an initial offering and more will be released? I don't remember the tix being that hard to get when I saw them last time, 5ish years ago.
the duluth show last time they played there sold out very quick too. i was surprised with how quick nashville sold out.
undertow>set break> the grudge> the patient> third eye>jimmy> parabol/a>eulogy>h>pushit>aenima would be a nice 4 hour show haha
They've played for over an hour and a half so far in Nashville and just now took intermission. May have been closer to two hours before the break
Well they were less that 200 before fees. And they are on pace for a three hour set. No ragrats, not even one letter.
They ended up playing for a little over two hours. Primus for an hour or so. Didn't play Sober but was still an awesome show
They should release an instrumental album composed entirely of electronic bongo drums, fat bass, and talk box guitar
Paid one and some change to see them in San Antonio and it was fantastic. Wish I got more Primus but man tool fucking threw down. Lights/visuals were amazing. Tool is the best live band in the world IMNSHO.
Is there concrete reasoning why Maynard stands in the back now? I've read it's because the shows are so loud it affects his singing so he stands behind the amps and speakers or that he wants the show to be about the music and lyrics and not him. Haven't seen anything from him saying why though. He also didn't always do it right?
