Anyone playing this? Suprised i couldnt find a thread on it. Played it a lot and enjoyed it last year. Just released a new dlc that added new difficulties, more levels and a vast new area with an upgradable vehicle. Im currently having a blast with it again.
You completed the Bozak Horde muck then to get the Bow and Arrow? I enjoyed playing it with my mates, maxed out my character before the second map and just went through the motions finishing the story and doing Quarantines. I never took to that Bozak trial nonsense, but I read somewhere that you could play it Co-op or that it's harder alone. How'd you complete it?
I haven't done the Bozak trials yet. Apparently you can get the bow off jump with the enhanced edition. Im starting to have a love/hate relationship with it though because sometimes 2 arrows will kill a goon and sometimes 50 won't. Kinda weird.
Ah, cool. The Bozak trials, while entertaining in a sense require alot of trial and error and can turn you off when you fall inches short of a platform and lose precious time resulting in you having to start the whole thing over again. Very Demon Souls-esque with it's mostly unforgiving nature that requires alot of precision you might or might not be willing to work at. I was very interested in the bow for a moment but after I upgraded all my stats and started getting harder hitting weapons I tossed it in the bin and just finished the game. Glad to see that they gave it to you anyway since I'm sure alot of folk never pressed on much with that Bozak rant. Plus it would be nice to be able to pick off a few low level baddies for a bit and muck around with a bow; I can only guess that it's a bit wonky since they've gone out of their way to make sure guns aren't as effective as the melee weapons so folk don't hoard 'em and turn it into a shooter.
It is. I really liked playing through the story mode with a few friends back when it came out. We all got the season pass recently (it was $20 on Amazon, latest DLC by itself was $20 so got everything) and are going to play through the new stuff some weekend soon. I assume the weapon duping glitch was fixed? I also imagine my weapon that I duped like 50 times for myself and friends isn't even that good anymore.
Has anyone completed the main campaign for the DLC as yet? What's the end game like? I was a bit intimidated by the new Legend Rank skill tree and I personally feel that my character is far too feeble to event attempt to roam out at night much less attempt to blow up a hive nest or attack one of the new boss enemies. I've just been bombing it 'round at night in the fully upgraded buggy, making mad dashes for Air Drops and taking potshots at the skinless zombies directly infront of homebase in hopes of making it through the night and banking upgrade points and leveling up piecemeal like. Everytime I bite it on Nightmare difficulty so close to turning over a level it's disheartening as fuck but I'd by lying if I said Nitemare difficulty didn't bring back a bit of the thrill one had running through the streets of the Slums them first few weeks when I got this.
