Biscuits fucking killed it tonight. Late set much better than the early set. Found it unusual that they played a full nughuffer after finishing it last night. Def a rarity
Gorge is a must visit. Weather was perfect and that venue is breath taking. N1 kicked N2 ass in overall energy, but N2 was still incredibly fun
Caught UM on Friday night. One of the best shows they've played of the 46 I've been to. They watched GNR as a band the night before and their energy showed how the experience affected them. Heavy show. Worth a listen: https://archive.org/details/um2016-07-15.CM-33
They way I've heard that 2nd set of the first night at George described is not just a 92/93 style set, but a really good version of a 92/93 style set.
Lol at the Bayliss stage banter. On how great seeing GNR was the night before: "Its a healing thing. Last night there was a moment there that I felt like I was 18 again, Ryan felt like he was 12, Joel felt like he was 35"
Anyone making it to dicks? If so, let me know. My crew somehow managed to pull off a 20 person suite, so I can stub a couple people up.
strong three nighter at BGCA, feeling much better about this tour. gus_chiggins i'll see you at dick's. flight and three-night pass have been purchased, just trying to figure out lodging now. Half the crew wants to get a cheap hotel, the other (wookier) half wants to camp
The whole weekend. With 20 people, it ended up being $100 per night. Not too bad when you get semi private bathrooms, option to cater, wait staff, and tvs for the first college football weekend
Was supposed to be at the show tonight but southwest randomly cancelled my flight 2 hours before. Had to nix the trip unfortunately
Taking my girl to tedeschi trucks tomorrow night and have some really solid acid for it. Literally dream date
What are everyone's thoughts on Twiddle? They aren't my cup of tea, but they illicit a strong response from Phish fans since they are from Burlington and all.
Saw the "wheels of soul" tour tonight with tedeschi/trucks, los lobos, and north Mississippi all starts. Lots of blues / allman bros style jamming. Really solid night of music. Derek is basically an alien, but I have to say that Luther Dickinson had the most highlight's. Los lobos were great - the end of their set was basically the big jam, which was cool with the horns involved. Super fun show, but never quite got to hyperspace. Both derek and Luther are so good. But their current situation doesn't quite put them over the top IMO. That's probably unfair due to the ABB connection.

Was there with my gf...didn't feel like the right venue for this booking. Big Derek and Susan fan but I was bored for a lot of the night
Yeah, freedom hill is a dump - everything else must have been booked. Just felt like Derek only lifted off when he had Luther or hidalgo on stage with him. Good night of tunes...just left me wanting more. Susan sounded great as always.
Seeing the name "Skerik" reminds me of 2003-2004. My friends and I listened to a lot of "Running the Gauntlet" by Claypool and Skerik has a solo in there that goes too long... Claypool calls him out (all in good fun) on stage. Are those guys all playing together like a superjam or what? That'd be about a million times cooler than those guys playing solo.
