my console key wasn't working so i tried to rebind it, and i ended up unbinding mouse1, didn't realize it until i restarted my pc and reconnected. life is wonderful.
Still worth it, you'll learn to love not having shit heads for a team. And getting ranks back isn't a big deal.
been near impossible for me. do you think frequency of play still holds people back? i do well, but don't play as much as i would want.
It just takes a lot of games to switch between ranks unless the game sees your rank as unstable (new to the game, win streaks).
Crazy that valve took this long to increase the market cap. It's now at $2000 for your account and $1800 per item, so we can finally see howls and dragon lores on the market. I'm not sure if it will drive their prices up or down.
Been trying to get my rank back and just getting such shitty teams. Finally win one when carrying 30-12, then the next match-up it put me in a full team of eagles against a full team of supreme/globals. Thanks csgo.
it's frustrating how much better i am in deathmatch than competitive, when the skill level of other players seems about the same also $2000 negev is stupid
maybe with better players the negev thing isn't that big of a deal but in late silver/early gold, it's really strong
its pretty tough to counter someone in the lower ranks that knows what they're doing with a negev. usually if i hear it i just wait for them to reload and charge in.
not sure if you guys kz at all, but i've been doing that for the past few days and it adds a ton to my game re: movement. browsing community servers and filtering for kz you can find some good servers like house of climb or toxic and it makes it easy to get started. a bit of a learning curve but once you get strafe jumps and crouch jumps down it is pretty self explanatory from there.
i tried to go on one of those servers and it downloaded files for like 5 minutes before i closed counter strike
that has happened to me before. i usually stick to house of climb or toxic and i dont have those issues anymore.
i played in a match last night where i'm pretty sure only 4 people weren't cheating they were openly making fun of each other for either paying or not paying for their cheats
Lol and that's prime right? I played a game last night where we won 16-3 and we ended up playing strat roulette towards the end because the other team was so shit.
the case gambling thing is pretty shady tbh i dont have a problem with it because i'm old enough and this is just a leisure thing for me. however, selling off something for $16 (that mecha industries stat track famas i posted some pages ago) and getting ~$0.80 back smells pretty bad.
How did you get $0.80 back, buy cases? I've spent way too much but never gambled, just buy the items I want. Figure I can basically get all of my money back if/when I want to.
yeah valve case openings are insanely lopsided in favor of the 'house' a lot of case opening sites have slightly better odds, but like fsck~ said, it's likely more profitable to get the skins you want and wait for the market to fluctuate
damn thats awesome. they're probably only going to get more expensive as well. i bought a phase 4 gut knife doppler and ended up making about $40 off it
Well did you see the new gloves? http://telkomgaming.co.za/glove-case-2-found-in-csgo-files/ I think everyone is assuming they come out with the operation this summer, so I imagine old gloves might dip a bit when that happens. Working the market would be a lot of fun if not for the huge steam tax. It's pretty hard to gain anything when you take out 15% each transaction, but I don't care enough to use non-steam markets.
i really hope they actually release an operation and not just a case. it's been well over a year now, right?
OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION http://www.counter-strike.net/operationhydra/ OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION OPERATION
Haha I'm 1.8 at 400 dpi. Supermat boys. Of course I've been playing that sens for about 18 years since 1999.
apparently ump long range damage was decreased a lot too bad, i was getting decent with it as a cheap rifle
You can't jump sensitivities like that. Go down in small increments. I just got one of the new cases and sold it for as much as the pass, winning.
played a couple of the operation maps. i actually did alright since no one else seemed to know them either. not sure if that's encouraging or not. Lite seems absurdly ct-sided but maybe that's just because no one knew what to do
i'm 2.0 in game and 400 dpi. took a while to get used to that, but i feel my aim is better for it. also, FUCK YES, OPERATION!
if anyone wants to pair up, i'm down to play some guardian missions at some point during the day, or tomorrow night. looks pretty awesome so far.
I'm up whenever I'm home, but I probably won't be home until 7 pacific at earliest. The new maps seem kind of dumb, but the game modes like flying scouts was fun. Also after seeing people desperately waiting for this for the past year it seems overhyped.
austria was ok, kind of predictable. we ended up winning 16-2 without really trying. kind of fun to play the maps because a lot of people don't really know how to play them right so it's totally random. hoping the guardian stuff is where the meat of the operation is
