So apparently because I watched some E3 presentations through Mixer I got Rare Replay and some other game for free.
I think I would have to buy that additionally.....and its $20. So I would be getting both Horizon and the DLC for $50.
Someone convince me to buy this game. Whats the best part? Is it fun to play online? I've only played Horizon 1 and it was pretty awesome. I am just skeptical about racing games.
Get the standard edition for $29.99 then get the expansion pass for $17.49. Less than $50 for Horizon and both expansions (Hot Wheels and Blizzard Mountain). There will be so much for you to do in the game. Even the base game was somewhat overwhelming with all the things for you to do but the base game plus both expansions right off the bat... that's a lot of hooch.
If you like cars just buy it. The level of detail is insane. The driving physics are unbelievable, especially if you haven't played since FH1. Customization is endless fun. The sights and sounds are unreal.
Question about Horizon: so I want to race in the Hot Wheels expansion against other drivers, how do I do that? I know you can do "co-op campaign" with friends but is there not an option just to race people online? Hopefully there's a simple answer to it.
12-month Xbox Live for $40 if you do Visa checkout and use the promo code VISADEALS https://www.rakuten.com/prod/p/q/sellerid/44942010/310578753.html
Saw a post on the X1 subreddit within the last few days that I just thought of for this. A nice, budget 4k HDR TV that performs amazingly well with regards to 4k HDR gaming (very low input lag - just 4-5ms off a monitor). http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/p607 Basically 15ms of input lag across the board for 4k gaming. 55" is $650 on Amazon right now but it's so backordered that it won't ship for 2-3 months. But something to keep an eye on for when/if they get more steady stock though.
Nice. And you can get those pretty much right away too. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-55-...c-range-roku-tv-black/5878705.p?skuId=5878705 Not seeing the P series on the Target website right now. When I searched for them the other day basically no retailer links were coming up. For $600 I might just grab one to see how good it really is even with just my Xbox One S and other 4k stuff (Netflix, etc.). That's an amazing price for something that does what it does at that size.
Lots of value here. Ori - $10 One of the most emotional games I've ever played. Visuals and soundtrack are stunning. Metro Redux bundle - $7.50 for the first 2 games I don't know much but they're post-apocalyptic FPS and are apparently very unnerving Wolfenstein: New Order - $10 Will be picking this one up myself. Trust in Bethesda. Witcher 3 complete - $24 or $25 idk No brainer. If I had to recommend one game to anyone, this is it. GOT Telltale - $6 If you like GOT, this is a nice addition to the universe.
Need to up my Xbox1 experience. Bought it a couple weeks ago and only have Battlefield 1 (meh, prefer CoD) and Arkham Knight (disappointing). Give me 3 games that are must haves for this system. Preferably at least 1 that has good multiplayer. No RPGs.
Overwatch is a fun fps multiplayer only game. Destiny will last you a couple of months minimum to do everything, but it's not for everyone. It's my most played game of all time, and a steal at whatever price it is now I'm sure (especially if you get all expansions for base game price at $60).
Don't care for racing games. Looking for single player games that are as enjoyable and open yet streamlined as an Arkham City or GTA5 and fun multiplayer games. I'll check out Rocket League.
Dying Light enhanced edition (all current DLC included) is $21 right now. Really fun single player story that can be played online cooperatively too. It's also getting 10 pieces of DLC over the next 12 months for free.
Rocket League Forza Horizon Halo 5 Gears 4 Titanfall 2 (especially if you love COD) Rainbow Six: Siege (still my favorite game....potentially of all time....but a very specific niche) All of these games are no brainers.
Don't care what anyone says about the DLC etc, Destiny was sold as a $60 game and it was actually a $180 game. That rubbed me the fucking wrong way.
I thought destiny had the best gunplay which is why I kept playing as much as I did. Probably won't buy D2 for various reasons, one of which is the shitty deal they did i with Sony. I'd bet money it can hit 4K60 on Scorpio but Sony put the brakes on that. Can't be better than ps4pro. Plus there is still destiny 1 guns and strikes that haven't came to Xbox yet.
Whatever price Destiny + all DLC are now would be one of the highest values for console gaming. It would take months to complete all of the content, and being made by the old Halo developer, the multiplayer is one of the more fun experiences on console. There is a reason Destiny has had over 30+ million registered players. The game is fucking good.
Is D2 going to be 30fps even on the scorpio? That's a deal breaker. Was deciding between console and PC. That makes the decision easy. Hard to go from 60fps on Overwatch to Destiny's 30fps. The world/detail is beautiful, but smoothness >>>> detail for multiplayer imo.
