Looked up current TTK for D2, and it seems like everything is around 1.2 seconds. Game has come a long way since the sub .5 second ttk of the TLW/Thorn meta. I thought the sweet spot was .8 to .9 seconds. Fights drag way too long currently, and movement is not as important now. Pvp will turn into who groups/moves as a team better instead of gun skill. I'm not sure if I love it yet or not. I like that abilities/grenades have less impact, but I hate relying on others.
i like the substantially decreased cooldown on grenades, but i think they should probably be a bit stronger
And once again cucked by the destiny gods.i cannot go see Ikora so I'm trapped in a never ending battle in the tower. Fuck you Bungie
I'm starting to enjoy the pvp stuff but I still wish it weren't 4v4. Crucible is gonna end up being all 4 stacks with the ttk and emphasis on team shooting.
It's always felt good when the connection worked. I just end up playing by myself a lot and worry about depending on the worst type of human Randoms
I do mainly for comfort. I get carpal tunnel like numbness from playing too much fucking Destiny with controllers. I use a PS Move Nav controller for left joystick, the usual L1/L2, d-pad, and mapping the touch pad button and the options button. Using a Logitech G900 I have for my PC as the mouse to map all the other buttons to. I really like it and am now using it for everything, not just shooters. Have no idea if it gives me any competitive advantage with aiming because I don't usually PvP to begin with and I suck enough at it that it wouldn't matter anyway. The nav controller and the mouse both work wireless with it once paired initially.
i definitely prefer using a handheld something with a joystick in the left and a mouse in the right to any other setup i've ever used.
What's the release day? Would like to squad up day one with some folks from the board. I can go PS4 or Xbone
I will say I don't think ps4 has a hardcore pvp following here at all, we are mostly pve except Keef while xbone is the opposite i mean we do iron banner and shit but we mostly raid and grind while waiting on enough people to raid
Probably gonna go solo for story unless something is too tough for me to clear. Wanna hear the story over chatter and such, go at own pace exploring too. Don't think I hate you all if I don't join up day 1. Maybe patrols I'll join up on.
think I'll power through solo on my first character then will welcome fireteam help to get through the other two characters. I'll probably pop in and out of any groups that may be going.
I do a good bit of both, first year of D1 I was all pve and then as that content got more and more stale with each expansion I moved to more pvp
also, the new social space will be available in the beta in 30 minutes for those who want to check it out. Only available for an hour.
some of the clan stuff is now live on Bungie's site. I went ahead and converted us to clan status for 2. I also changed the banner to what I feel is an appropriate representation of our dynamic. post name/motto/mission statement changes you want and we can decide if we want to change any of that stuff. also, this new exotic is only available if you pre-order the game. If you don't, you'll apparently have to wait until December for it to be available through regular play.
It looks like it will to me too. Doesn't look appealing. Looks like someone's take on destiny while removing the fun.
The division was too much of a grind and the pvp arena was to easily taken over and dominated by those who have more adderal than myself. Had a lot of potential but did too much wrong. Still a lot of people play it and I think they will Anthem as well. Bioware cannot afford for Anthem to go wrong imo or they go bye bye
