Did they get a new make-up artist? Dany, Missandei and Melisandre all looked better than before tonight.
I was cheering for them to all die I'd rather watch Shae's afwul acting over their attempt at fighting.
You son of a bitch. This is probably gonna happen now. But to be honest though who is there for her to really assassinate now? We are pretty sure Jamie will kill Cersei. Her character has run its course. Is she going to assassinate the white walkers? That just doesn't work. Also remember GRRM stated he had to change Arya's storyline several times to keep her alive because his wife refused to let him kill her.
I'll be upset if she isn't reunited with the Hound at some point too because that was one of the better duos in the story. I bet she gets to Winterfell and has a reunion with Sansa, but Jon is gone to Dragonstone. I'm also wondering what they do when they get the news about Bran. It seems like he would need to stay at the wall.
I don't think Arya will die anytime soon. She has Jon, Hound, and Gendry stories. Has to at least get to a few of them. I think her and Sansa will actually like each other now too.
I always kind of fear that because Arya has been just missing Jon repeatedly in the series that she will die when she's once again really close.
Also the scene with Dany and Melisandre definitely left the door open for the theory that Dany is the prince(ss) who was promised
Seems too on the nose. Anytime a character says "hey this prophesy could be YOU" I'm skeptical. Assuming there really is an AA reborn (and that's an "if" in my opinion) then my money is on someone a little more obscure and unexpected like the Hound. Although if it must be a woman there's not many left to choose from. How funny would it be if Mellesandre herself was the destined hero she'd been looking for.[/QUOTE]
Also, you spent a fortnight as Walder Frey and never thought to ask the maester about what's been going down since you left? Cmon Arya.
that was Nymeria hanging from her whip. Obara was impaled next to her. Tyene went down to protect Ellaria and they took the two of them alive. like I said, I'm expecting some heinous murder next week just as a show of power from Cersei. like the Mountain picking her up by her legs and tearing her apart at the middle or something equally grotesque.
the dumb bitch tried to use a whip on a close quarter ship battle. I'm glad Euron fucked them up. I like Yara maybe she will survive but the other two better go and go painfully.
Writers are trying to make Euron a top level heel, but immediately turn him face by having him kill the Sand Snakes, smh
Not gonna lie, I half expected Nymeria to rip Aryas face off like those hounds did to Ramsey when she got real close to her. Would be such a GRRM move
Do show watchers know Jon is a Targ? I have seen a lot of Jon and Dany shipping and, well, it wouldn't be entirely un-Targ but still... not ideal. I think the show made it pretty obvious but if you didn't read the books I could see how you would almost just write off that scene as unimportant.
Arya knew it was her. the line "that's not her" was a callback to season one when Arya told Ned that being a lady wasn't her. Nymeria is a leader of a wild pack, going home as Arya's companion "isn't her".
Is there any reason the Army of the Dead hasn't attacked the wall yet? Seems like they've been hovering around it for awhile now.
i'm feeling at ease about the jon/sansa relationship since they played the sentimental stark music when jon gave her charge of the north.
Other than resolving the Iron Throne plot, no. I don't anticipate a major White Walker invasion until the finale.
I could see her doing something stupid. And it doesn't help that both Jon and Davos are gone, and she's got Littlefinger whispering in her ear.
