Did you find anything out? My neighbor (house built in '68) had a bill come back like that and they found a pipe under her basement floor that was leaking. She had to have the concrete removed and the pipe replaced. I'm on a crawl space and when I moved in four years ago, I had two leaking water pipes under the house. Luckily they were easy to find and fix.
Praying always works. Could have saved more money and prayed for the toilet to stop leaking. In all seriousness, that could definitely be the issue. Hope it's fixed. I'm on septic and smug as hell about my bill every month.
I'm pretty sure it was the original toilet from '58, so it needed to go anyway (should've done it when I replaced the other one, but it's my 3yo's bathroom and that smaller 1958 toilet was a good size for her). She's perched up on this new "luxury height" one like a gargoyle.
Random thought: does Trim Tab fill their cans up less than the other Bham breweries? When I pour one of their beers vs, say, Good People, it always seems like there's a lot less in the glass. I know some could be carbonation or something, but even after letting it sit it seems to be an issue.

My friends live over there too. Some dumb broad smoked a power pole on Montevallo and last I heard the road was shut down both ways bc of live power lines being down.

My hydrangeas are all dead. Took them to the plant store and the cause is too much water. I miss the drought.
Weird, I was always told hydrangeas loved wet soil. Mine are still looking good. My garden, on the other hand, looks like shit and I think all the rain is to blame. Grass has never looked better, though.

hoover's softball leagues are run so poorly its maddening. in three years and 6-8 seasons I don't think we've ever played more than six games on our 8 game regular season schedule, including one season where they completely cancelled the playoffs. cancelled again tonight, which means we will go from June 29th-August 2nd without playing a single game. rain out, bye week, rain out, forfeit, rain out. Of the three rainouts I would say one was warranted and I know for a fact that other leagues played on at least two of those nights. We will have had a 45 day stretch where we play a total of one game.
Trust me you won't find many people more anti-Hoover than me, it's just the only softball league that I'm aware of other than that tee ball field they're playing on over in Green Springs
yeah my league's in avondale. it's full of service industry and starving artist critter-types though.
I know a guy that plays in a turn back the clock, vintage baseball league in Nashville...seems like some god level hipster activity to me. Turn of the century baseball reinactment, waxed mustaches abound. Reminds me of the pirates playing baseball scene in "Hook".
we may have to look into moving the mighty Kekambas to Avondale then. is the law league fun? i generally dislike attorneys and work social events, so i dont know if i would play in it, but our firm doesn't have a team anyway.
