Not really, the Rams gave up much more for a player not even close to being worth the 1st overall pick who will set them back another 3-4 years.

But I will accept the failure he was and my original excitement I had when we drafted him.

I would have done the same thing regardless of where he went to school. I quoted the UF fans too if you didn't notice. The bucs drafting a kicker in the 2nd (and trading up to do so), was idiotic. The fact it gets posters like you upset is just an added bonus.

Not the case at all. Half the people CUgator quoted were gator fans praising the pick. I was the only one (apparently) who hated it, and not because he went to FSU. Spending a premium pick (rd 1-3) on someone who is only on the field 5-10 plays per game, let alone a kicker, is fucking stupid. For instance, I think Eddy Pineiro is great and could be a phenomenal NFL kicker with his leg strength. But if the Bucs took him before the 6th, I'd be pissed and think it was a wasted pick until proven otherwise. For as much as Licht has gotten right in the 1st rd, he's been mostly terrible outside of it. Kwon and Marpet were homeruns, but everyone else to this point is TBD (Spence, Donovan Smith) or a bust.
Besides me liking you as a poster, I just was in a mode of stating that I think that style of posting is pathetic. I almost deleted the "gator talk" of it but I also skimmed through those quotes very fast. Regardless I stick to my opinion. I think I'm just getting old and I'm also stubborn as fuck as a person.
