Fuck Cobb County so hard http://www.ajc.com/news/local/cobb-...ly-shoot-black-people/I3RAuy3GVMmoM4WsXBGN7H/
Yes this one. I hope we get most of it eventually, but I wonder why the west side doesn't have much going on. I think connecting arts center to bankhead would be a great line.
How is that Escorpion Taco place on like Peachtree/5th? I live right by there and have never been. Almost went last night but opted for Krog St Superica instead
Emory bought that house to allow itself to annexed into the City of Atlanta for precisely this reason I believe.
There are better places. Its location and patio made me have high expectations. Superica was the better move.
Balls McLongcock do you live in The Trace? Place looks nice. Im excited about the Caravaca market opening there. We're gonna have food halls all over.
Viewpoint at Peachtree/6th. Moved in about a month ago. Im familiar with Midtown since I have been in ATL for 4 years but this is my first time living in Midtown
thats a nice property too - Rreal Tacos, the construction worker QuikTrip, Takorea, World of Beer, Kale Me Crazy, and our neighborhood Ace Hardwear. Good location. Im over at 8th & WPtree.
Nice Ive walked over there to Publix a few times. Love Rreal Tacos and have hit the QT drunk at 2am already too many times. Once my roomie gets back we will probably hit up Cypress a good bit for after work beers.
I signed a lease there to move in Last JULY. I don't think it was finished until October, and even then, it was bare bones livable without 90% of the amenities. They called me 2 weeks before I was supposed to move in (even scheduled a move-in date and time) and told me to get an extended stay hotel. I asked them to pay for it and they said I wouldn't have to pay rent so I could stay there. Really glad I didn't end up there. The food hall did look sweet though.
With the city tax last year, Clifton to Emory/CDC will be the first project unless the wheels fall off with the mayoral election (Woolard or Fort). I'm actually currently in LA with almost every Mayor and Commissioner in Fulton County trying to convince them to put up the cash to build 400 north. They won't go beyond Holcomb Bridge. I20 has no money. Clayton has some cash but there isn't political will.
I am in the preliminary stages of moving to an in-town territory (Grady hospital.) Where should I be looking to purchase? I'm not necessarily buying for appreciation, but I won't purchase some over-inflated neighborhood just because it's the most recently gentrified block of craftsman homes. Trying to keep my drive time to under 20-30min even in the worst traffic scenario.
You should check out my neighborhood in East Lake, but we're getting the craftsman homes too. Anywhere along 20 would likely work well for you.
And all you Keith Parker haters out there get your wish. He is leaving MARTA. Going public on Tuesday.
We all stayed at the Standard. Toured all over. Dave Rickert from the AJC was with us the entire time (With the exception of me getting shitfaced last night).
Antico, Ammazza, Nancy's Chicago, Varuni Napoli, Jack's, Sapori di Napoli really depends on where exactly you are
I'm willing to travel. I know there are at least three Antico's so that's a definite possibility. I like Nancy's but have only had the Chicago deep dish and my friends hate Chicago deep dish. I'm not familiar with the other few you listed but I'll look them up as well. Thank you.
I had really high hopes for Amazza but didn't care for it. Was at Antico last night and they fucked up my order. Gave me an extra pizza for the hassle. Love that place. Fox brother's special tonight is a beef short rib. It was expensive but unbelievable. Took up the whole plate and tasted like the love child of brisket and roast beef.
That's easily the best thing on the menu at Fox Bros. Seems to be on "special" a lot too. Basically just ask for it every time you go.
