Samsung is unveiling their new galaxy tomorrow. Anyone have a guess on how much the S8 will cost after the new one is released?
does anyone know where I can find an APK for this? it was my go-to grocery app, but it appears to be gone: https://www.addictivetips.com/mobil...themed-to-do-list-app-with-google-tasks-sync/
Check to see if it's on apkmirror.com. As long as there was a free version available, chances are it is on there.
i guess i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one having issues with google keyboard recently. what the fuck is going on with that thing?
Best way to buy an S9+ on Verizon? Seems like direct through Samsung and trading in my s7 for $300 is my best bet unless I'm missing something. If buying through Samsung, should I buy unlocked or setup for Verizon? I assume unlocked but not sure the difference.
I'm new to Verizon, but if you upgrade every year, you may look at getting it from them. I think they will basically waive half of the payments if you keep that going perpetually
Verizon is $90 higher than Samsung on this phone. So dumb. But yea with Verizon you can turn your phone in every 12 months and get the new model. There's fees to do it but it's not terrible.
Ditching Samsung for the Pixel next time I buy a phone. Hope they finally bring back wireless charging. I miss the quick updates and the vanilla Android experience that I had on the Nexus 6P.
Shit, my Pixel 2 started doing the flashing/flickering screen BS yesterday. I love the phone and this is the first big issue I've had, has anyone else had to return their device over this? Seems like Google has been replacing units when it happens.
Are you making typos on here too? For some reason even when I press the rec word it won't select it. It's incredibly annidijdnsg
That's what mine does. Instead of putting in the word I've selected it puts in some nonsense word that has a few of the letters of the word I wanted
I've noticed it in GroupMe as well. I use chrome and in my tiny brain it seems like a Google keyboard shouldn't have trouble functioning properly in a Google browser.
I'm going from an iPhone 6S+ to the Samsung Galaxy S9+, what type of learning curve should I expect? Also what are some cool exclusive apps and features for Android?
Never knew about it. Looks good in play store. Has all the features of Android keyboard without the glitches?
It was way better than android key board for a long time. Think the android keyboard has come a long way in the last couple years but I never switched back. Pretty sure it has everything android has and more.
Giving it a shot. Doesn't insert a period on double space bar so this is already messing with me a bit
There is a setting to enable this feature. I have been using SwiftKey for well over 5 years at this point. The only lacking feature for me is text expansion.
Trying to decide between an S9, S8 or pixel 2/pixel xl2 today. Coming from an s6 so everything will be an improvement, but since battery life is important to me and I mainly use Google/chrome/gmail/the Google assistant I'm leaning towards the pixel
Just switched back toto SwiftKey for the first time in years. SwiftKey is entering doubledouble words. Seems like thethe issue is thethe board? Shit is also screwy on mymy work computer.
Went with the pixel 2 and got the neo hybrid case rec'd on here. Case, extra chargers, screen protectors and bluetooth headphones all coming from Amazon delivering today. I bought the phone on Sunday and Verizon wanted double the $ of all that stuff from amazon, for their shitty case and a car charger he claimed I needed since "there's no USB to USB-C cables out there". Which was such a blatant lie for his commission check, plus they just show you the end price of "taxes on the phone plus accessories" in the store and when I asked he told me the case/screen protector/car charger were $100 worth of that bundled price. So yeah fuck them for that sleazy sales shit but I paid for it indirectly by waiting until today for my case to get here, before transferring to the Pixel 2.
I refuse to ever buy anything directly from the service providers unless it's a super deal. THey always want to con you into buying shit you don't need or making you pay more for the same thing or something that's even worse than what you can get on Amazon. Hell, my local AT&T store even tries to get me to sign up for Direct TV every time I go in there, and I only go in there when I have a problem.
amazon for accessories, price hunt for the actual phone, but its almost never best at the carrier. accessories from the carrier are the worst offenders.
I think I'm finally going to upgrade from my S5 to the S9. My screen is dying and the battery life is like 2 hours so need to upgrade.
A "friend" tells me the Pornhub app has a VR mode built-in. This "friend" doesn't have a VR headset so he's never tried it.
Anyone know of a visual voicemail app you can use with the s9/att? Apparently it doesn't come with one,lol...helping a friend who refused to live the Pixel life
You can sideload it from APKmirror.com https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/att-s...al-voicemail-4-2-0-0028-android-apk-download/
Guys, I need help. Picked up the s9+ recently and I'm having issues with IFTTT as a wallpaper changer. It runs but for some reason I just get a black screen on my home screen. If I set a regular pick from my gallery as my wallpaper, it works fine. When I swipe up and bring up my apps, I can see the IFTTT pic. As I scroll down to go back to home screen, I still see it. As soon as I get back to home screen, it goes black. What could be causing that? Data sync is on, so it's not that. It's running. It just seems like something is preventing it from being seen on the home screen. I'm baffled.
I decided to get the oneplus 5t last week and found out that they're sold out and coming out with the 6 soon. Apparently the 6 jumps $250 in price though, so that's out. I'm considering the xiaomi mi mix 2 now. Has anyone seen one in person?
