Actually I was reading that the person who had the name tried to sell it and that's against TOS, so EPIC banned the account and gave the name to Ninja. Believable, but this is Twitter I'm going off of.
Exactly why I immediately block everyone asking to buy my gamertag on Xbox. I used to respond to people and just say I wasn't selling but now it's just an insta-block.
bic, same as here. Worst one was when a Youtuber wanted it a couple years ago. He had about 20k Twitter followers and 300k subscribers at the time and he sicced them on me so I had to turn off notifications and whatnot when I wanted to play for a while. Dude has over 1m subs now.
im guessing it is because it's 3 letters? for whatever reason short handles are some sort of status symbol. Had a friend who was paid $500 for his AOL screenname when we were 10 (ish) because his SN was his initials and someone wanted it to say he had a 3 letter SN
Yeah, 3 letters is what matters most. Plus you can actually say it and it's easy to assign some kind of meaning unlike the 3-letter tags that are just any 3 letters that were available.
That Youtuber eventually offered something like $1,200 which is hilarious now thinking about it because I was looking through my imgur account the other day and I had a screenshot of his first messages and his initial offer was $40 and I think a shoutout on Twitter or in one of his videos...lol. I get probably 2-3 offers a month now that are $200-500 and those are initial offers where I just block the person. I would just never believe that any of these people wouldn't try to scam me so they can say any number they want and there's no one to enforce the exchange.
its from a csgo mod map that was on his channel back when he was still on cloud9. the dialogue is hilarious throughout the whole thing at like 18 seconds
Honest question for those who play league, do you watch pro LoL games? Every game I’ve ever seen on Twitch has a kill score of like 3-4 through 20 minutes. Seems like pro meta has almost no kills unless it involves a Baron fight or something. Pro LCS games seem super duper boring
I mean, can’t you just go to his profile to rewatch things? I guess if people are dumb enough to send money while watching an old video, why the hell not air it.
ninja lost 10,000 subs yesterday bc of twitch prime not auto-renewing it'll be interesting to see how this month goes for him but he still hits 140,000 viewers so I can't imagine his subs drop that crazy might be closer to 16 or 18k, he is "down" to 249k and I think he was around 265k
Twitch viewership numbers seem to be growing every week. Like Just today LCS NA finals was at 250K while rocket league had 70K, meanwhile Ninja was at 170K and shroud had 50K. Wonder how much growth the platform has in general, unrelated to Fortnite
It’s not a partnership, Amazon bought them a few years ago, and the prime sub has been around for a while.
Fucking Logan Paul is now streaming. And has close to 100K viewers I know Ninja can’t stand the guy (and rightfully so). Here’s to hoping there is some kind of fanboy war between their bases.
He tore into his chat because they were giving him shit, telling them to unsub yada yada. Then tweeted out he was gonna stream today and not pay attention to them. He’s a moron
Yeah, also banning viewers and saying they aren't real fans if they say they don't like the Pauls. Seems like he whored himself out to try to get some new viewers and it backfired hard.
summit played with Jake Paul but Logan Paul is the one that is hated more. The Paul brothers are douchy youtube vloggers who both have made $millions pandering to teenagers thru donations and merch sales. Logan is the one who rightfully caught a bunch of shit (and received a ban on his main account) for filming the still hanging body of a guy who had killed himself the night before in Japan's suicide forest
Gotcha. I heard about that, but didn’t pay attention to who the guy was. I’m not up on the YouTube celebrity scene.
anyone ever have an issue with not being able to see the streamer's chat? for whatever reason i cannot see it at all.
On mobile it gets fixed if I just close and restart app. Rarely use desktop but that’s never been an issue there
Ninja and Drake were playing duos and Drake got killed with around 15 players left. Ninja made it to 1v2 and Drake told him he would give him $5000 if he won. Easiest 5k Ninja will ever make.
could audibly hear bong rips in the background of drake playing with ninja, it’s great Edit: it was hookah, still hilarious
Came across this dude today. He calls scam IT centers posing as people with little computer experience to show how some scams are run. Just watched one where he posed as an old lady who gave them access to “her” computer and bank account. Pretty gross how those people operate. At least this guy’s doing some service by wasting their time and exposing their tactics.
