Ordered. My father in law is coming over to drink bourbon and watch this. Should be an excellent time.
Random question but what happened with Stingray Steve and PMT? I recall someone mentioning that Dave made fun of him and Steve got mad. Not sure if that's actually what happened.
I’m of the opinion that “the main event” isn’t any better than the undercard in any of these. I’d err on getting there early. It’s four hours getting drunk with your buddies watching hillbillies beat each others brains in for $500.
a former wr for us in the butch era is fighting tonight. got a cup of coffee in the NFL. he may kill the person
The truth hurts. To be honest, I’ve never really liked Stingray’s rise. I can laugh at making fun of somebody who is aware, but he never seemed to be in on the joke. I’ve always felt bad for him because he doesn’t seem to be all there.
I was trying to look up what the insurance/liability costs would be to hold a rough & rowdy, but found one fighter died in a previous event. I don't think Barstool was the promoter for this one, although I'm sure all fighters have to sign a waiver before each fight. Spoiler Business owner injured in Rough-N-Rowdy Brawl dies By Christian Boschult February 23, 2017 10:04 AM Updated February 23, 2017 12:35 PM A contestant who was injured competing in the Rough N Rowdy Brawl amateur boxing tournament died Wednesday. Willie Pedersen was 34. He leaves behind a wife and two children. After sustaining a hard punch during his second fight of the tournament on Feb. 4, Pedersen began showing concussion symptoms and was rushed to the hospital where doctors performed an emergency craniotomy to relieve pressure due to brain swelling. He remained in a coma until his death. He graduated from Socastee High School and was co-owner of Honest Auto Service in Socastee. He met his wife Melissa while serving in the Army. In previous interviews while Willie was in the hospital, his wife and friends described Willie’s personality and his impact on their lives. “There’s not a soul in this world that could have a bad thing to say about that man,” said his wife Melissa Pedersen. “He was kind and nice to everybody he ever met. “He’s always smiling,” she said. “The only wrinkles he has are around his eyes and mouth from smiling. He’s a really great guy. Just nice to everybody.” Travis Pritchett, the best man at Willie and Melissa Pedersen’s wedding, described Willie as “one of the most honest, hardworking wonderful people,” he’d ever met. “Everybody has that one best friend that you can rely on, trust on, talk to about anything, that you absolutely really trust,” he said. “You have a lot of acquaintances growing up through life but you always have that one friend, and he’s that one friend for me.” Ryan Wagner, Willie’s business partner, said it was “impossible” not to like Willie. “Willie has always been the most level headed, thoughtful person I have ever met,” he said. “That is why he is loved by so many people. He would do anything for you at anytime. Always has a smile on his face and even when things are not going so well, he would stay calm, keep moving forward and get through it.” A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for the medical bills. http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/news/local/article134456459.html
There was a meme with Stingray’s picture and these words more or less. Dave said it was funny on the Rundown and Stingray got upset.
the main thing i got out of this article was how awesomely white trash a myrtle beach rough n rowdy would be
I’ve done a lot of work for specialty insurance carriers. The premium is much less than what you’d expect for dangerous events/activities, and yes they will require a pretty stringent waiver/release.
Ever work with K&K Insurance? I used to place coverage for single day events, and you're right they are fairly cheap.
I have not worked for K&K, but they did insure a codefendant in a case I had about a motorsports event.
Has anyone bought R&R before? I assume you can cast it to an apple tv or a chromecast? Is it just a stream or can you rewind and pause? I won't be home in time for the start and I don't want to miss the national anthem. Edit: went to the site and my question was answered in 1 minute. You cannot rewind but you will have access to the full stream later for about 24 hours.
Hope I don’t have any difficulty streaming from my PS4. They usually put up instructions but I haven’t seen any this time. Any experiences with this?
You need to be able to get on a normal browser to send it over. I doubt a PS4 is going to be able to handle it.
We had like 4 inducers from Hawthorne’s over the past two weeks trying to get our kid to pop out. Love that place
may i ask who? been following the heels for a while. but i bought it as well. thinking 4 hours of bill burr makes it worth it alone.
