He's fucking good. In the same vein as Mitch McKee he has a nasty head pinch.

 

He looked great this weekend, pretty damn good freestyler

 

McKenna dominates the final 7-3 (was up 7-0 late, gave up 3 points in the last 10 seconds). He gets to sit out the challenger tourney for Final X.

I imagine that will change the mood of the Ohio RTC room a bit. Stieber gunning for that spot.

Coon pulled out the W and the bye to the challenger tournament finals. I think Coon can go with anyone in the world.

 

Asking as someone who has only started closely following just folkstyle wrestling for the past few years, is Dom Demas winning a junior title today a promising sign that Lou Roselli might be able to get wrestlers that get us back to being at least decent again?

 

Lou Rosselli is a top tier coach, especially in free style. He is a great guy to lead Oklahoma, no doubt.

 

Colon challenged a 2 pt td, they changed it to a 4 and then added a point for lost challenge....3 points, yikes.

 

Colon-Nahshon was fucking awesome.

 

Ramos beats Fix 2-2 with a late-ish exposure.

He's one of the two headiest wrestlers in the country along with Jordan Burroughs.

In other news, Dake broke his thumb today before the finals match. Ridiculous how tough these guys are.

 

didn't watch his first match, just saw him taking constant injury breaks in his other matches. Yianni won a title with a torn acl, Nato tore his, wouldn't be surprised if Nolf had a significant injury he fought through

 

Definitely impressive toughness from Hoffman.

guessing that was a tough decision for Cael, him and Beard seem pretty even but what do I know. Sure your dynasty will continue regardless.

 

Does he try to hurt Lee in the room? The boys might want to get a handle on that early because they’re old friends.

 

Spencer Lee and Gable Steveson cannot request special JR wrestle offs if they don't make the senior world team.

Daton Fix can, however, because he finished top 3 at the Open.

So Fix will definitely wrestle at the Senior WTT then likely request a wrestle-off if he doesn't get past the challenger field, Ramos and Gilman.

Spencer Lee will have a decision on his hands. He has to get past the field, Fix, Ramos, AND Gilman. Maybe JRs is a safer choice, but even so, he could still have to wrestle Fix.

Sounds like Gable will be going Junior WTT again. Probably smart. Time is on his side, no rush.

Speaking of...the challenger tournament at 125kg is going to be SMALL.

One and two seeds will be Dom Bradley and Jake Varner (Bradley should probably be the #1 but Varner finished higher at the Open)
#3 will be Anthony Nelson
#4 will be Tanner Hall
#5 will be Mike Kosoy

That's it. That's the entire tournament.

Winner gets Coon.

Winner of that gets Gwiz at Final X.
