This is where I actually won't be upset if we go with a 4-4-2 so we can get Sargent/Nova/Weah all on the field Nova-Sargent Weah-Keaton-Mckennie-Puli Robinson-Miazga-EPB/CCV-Olosunde Be still, my beating heart
What other jerseys do you guys own? I have a Gabriel Jesus palmeiras jersey, a Maldini jersey with Milan, a totti jersey with Roma, a Neymar Brasil jersey, a Diego Flamengo (lol) and a few other from Brasilian teams but with no player
USA Fabian, USA centennial (blank), USA Pulisic, USA Wood, City 12-13 away Yaya, City 12-13 3rd Balotelli, City 14-15 (I think) home Navas, City 15-16 Hart, City 17-18 home KDB, Columbus Crew 15-16 black (blank) I think that’s it
I have a Red with blue sash Holden from around 2010 that is still my go to. Also have a blue with white sash Dempsey from SA WC, Bradley black from a couple years ago, and then a Tom Cairney Fulham, an orange Fulham alternate from a few years back with no name, and a red Brede Hangeland Fulham from way back. Just picked up a Eriksen Denmark for this summer.
Great stuff Jorge. For those that don’t know him and his wife were robbed at gunpoint of $20K after the first leg of the final.
He was named technical director of NAC Bredaof the Dutch Eredivisie on May 14, 2006. Earnest Stewart was appointed as AZ’s Director of Football Affairs in June 2010. The 41-year-old American succeeded Marcel Brands, who left AZ for PSV. Stewart left his post as Technical Director at NAC Breda by mutual consent.[1] Stewart stated in the past that he had a long-term goal of returning to United States soccer in an executive role: "One ambition I do have is to go back to the United States and to be of importance to soccer."[2]
Yeah, it essentially comes down to hiring a coach and following player progression. A guy that spent a lot of time in dutch front offices seems as good a choice as any for that.
BTW I love that Puli and Wes are already such good friends. You could tell that Landon and Clint never liked each other.
I am excite for 5:30 Lebron gave Pulisic a pair of game worn shoes this week. (He's a huge Lebron fan) Pretty awesome
So, that's clearly a 4-4-2 with Weah and Pulisic on the wings. I'm actually much happier with that lineup than I normally am. Don't really get Zimmerman over Miazga unless the thought is the latter is just a known quantity. Corona But if we get Keaton and Andrija on early in the second half I'll be quite satisfied
Zimmerman likely won't be going to the Euro friendlies. So guessing that's why he's starting. Probably the same with Corona.
Auto-kop if so Has the ship sailed on Kellyn Acosta? Not making a statement one way or the other on his quality but haven’t heard his name in forever.
I don't think it's quite sailed, (The main reason he's not here is probably because we hardly called in any MLS players with the season going on) but there's just some other central mids with a little more promise that are younger. McKennie kind of has our box to box midfield position on lockdown, Adams is better defensively, and Keaton is likely better offensively. He's still young tho
Seemed like he didn’t impress enough his last time up so they gave Trapp another chance last time they called up MLS guys and he got the armband and played well. Selfishly hoping he becomes a guy at that spot. CM spots will be limited and I’m not expecting many MLS guys there so don’t feel like there’s a spot for both
Acosta had a hernia surgery and just got healthy. I expect him to be in Europe by January. Acosta needs to make the move, Dallas can get allocation money and they have youngsters Paxton Pomykal and Brandon Servania knocking on the door. Although, Pomykal is more attack minded and maybe our best '99 after Adams.
