Without pigments or dye, fabric fibers, paint base and paper are usually made of particles that scatter white light (all colors) well in all directions. When a pigment or ink is added, wavelengths are absorbed or "subtracted" from white light, so light of another color reaches the eye.
They always had red and yellow. What we want to know is where the fuck are you getting two different blues from
Driving around Denver I consistently see more royal blue state flags than navy blue. I also have only seen the city flag in navy blue
Sometimes I feel like we had no way to know the glory that was 90’s sports uniforms. As such, we never really got a chance to appreciate them.
Still have to have the bullshit navy helmet. And probably can still only wear them for 2 games a year.
Agree that it would look much better with the royal blue helmet but I think they used navy in the past
Whoa. You’re right. This feels like one of those Mandela effect things because I don’t remember it that way. WHY IS IT NAVY
Makes about as much sense as the cowboys using 3 different shades of blue in their uniforms. Plus no hd TV's probably did make it look the same
I think around 99/00 they had a few teams but not all. It was right before the NFL signed that stupid ass Reebok contract.
Yea starter, Nike, Russell, champion, wilson, macgregor and Apex all did them for some teams for a couple years
Kind of the same deal as Puma. They werent league wide but a lot of teams used them for a few years. Same with Wilson, Apex, Starter, Adidas, and Nike. The late 80’s, 90’s, and early 00’s saw a bunch of different brands.
Mariners and royals going with turn ahead the clock night or some shit like that for 2027 future uniforms. Sleeveless, untucked, all sorts of shit. This picture gets a good look at both unis and the royals wild helmets
Fly on the wall for that mariners meeting: “So we do a throwback uniform night - back to the a-rod, Griffey days.” “What’s the point though?” “There’s no point.” “Ok sounds good to me. Let’s get a mock-up done by 4, and jerseys online. Mark the price up too.”
