Pence is bad in his own right, but he isn't a madman, and I really don't know anything about Haley. Mitch and Paul Ryan are pretty bad guys and it's heightened because they are smart enough to know what they're doing. But no one in the line of presidential succession is worse for our country's international standing, for our democracy, for pretty much everything, than Donald J Trump.
Haley is a snake. She plays the very well-reasoned, respectable Republican but then turns around and gives the rubber stamp to whatever the party wants.
She's just another "not a Trump fan" wannabe critic who turned over and joined the administration as soon as they waved a shiny new role in her face.

Her running for president would actually create a sort of ironic situation, in that republicans would have to choose how to handle her having taken down the rebel flag. Like, it should be a big asset for her candidacy, but there are a shit ton of rwnjs who hate her for it.
