I’m not a comic book guy but I was pretty excited for both suicide squad and Batman vs Superman, both were such disappointments Not sure if the blame should go on Snyder or the higher ups but what a shit show this has become while marvel is absolutely crushing it
With Suicide Squad it was pretty heavily reported that WB meddled a lot with the story to make it "lighter" Specifically with BvS, the more I look back at it the more I think of it as a collection of good scenes that added up to not a good movie, and that is on Snyder and his crew.
Snyder has never been able to differentiate the Clark Kent and Superman characters. Donner and Puzo did that perfectly, and then was acted very well by Reeve.

Sony’s at least self aware enough to know they weren’t going anywhere with their biggest property, and let a more than capable company use it
It was batshit crazy (see what I did there?) and I loved every minute of it. The DCAU is so good, and, as of said before, really starting trend toward being for a more adult audience. Cannot wait for Young Justice.
They're going to make him a down on his luck nice guy who gets stepped on by the evil big money Wayne's and their mafia ties, and, as a result, they make him become The Joker. They'll probably make Bruce a spoiled little brat rich kid just to make the film even edgier!
What's the point of creating villain-centric movies like The Joker if you can't even then incorporate that character in the main narrative of your shared universe because there is already an all-time bad Joker in that one.
Would be funny if this joker movie is a hit and they just ignored Leto’s Joker and moved forward with Joaquin. Call him back to do a Batman movie.
