Not to get all Jon Favreau here, but it's tougher to be a candidate for a big tent party. It's not like being a GOP candidate where all you have to do is be racist and favor big business. Your policy doesn't matter because your base will vote against their own self interests in favor of a letter. A Dem candidate has to appeal to so much more, which is why these people picking apart a candidate for one issue is stupid. A guy can be "centrist" and lean toward more progressive policies, or a progressive can lean toward more centrist ideas because they will have to. The primaries will separate the candidates because as of now, you can find a single policy that might eliminate every one of them. Basicallt, don't be that guy some of you are being, because nobody likes the guy that thinks he is the smartest guy in the room.

Unless that is your job, or you have a job that allows you to do nothing, you can’t learn all the details on the daily findings of his past/current stuff. Here are just a few examples that literally we don’t even talk about anymore. - he mocked a disabled journalist - he had audio released about grabbing woman by the pussy - he claimed to have a lot more people at his inauguration and had his WH staff claiming that as well (while likely also having them alter photos) - he claims our last president didn’t have a birth certificate - etc. X a large number The amount of completely dirty shit that this asshole does is unreal. Everybody in this thread knows a man/woman like that in real life. Those people are unbearable to be around. Yet, we have this one running the free world.
I’ve started watching Lou Dobbs on Fox Business from time to time just for the commercials. They’re a goddam riot. Jellyfish supplements and tactical Armageddon protection.
I’ve spoke with a private equity guy a couple weeks ago and they own several companies that do business in China. He said the damage is done with China. For example, take Travel Pro suitcases. They used to source and produce solely in China. The owner has played golf with Trump about once a quarter and he said that Trump was not backing down on the tariffs and to prepare appropriately. So travel pro has already started sourcing %50 of their material and production in other countries to avoid the tariffs even before they were ever implemented. He said just if the tariffs are removed they will not switch back their production to all of China so as not to ruin just developed relationships. Whether the echo chamber wants to aknowlwsge that the trade war is hurting China more than the US. It would take a liberal echo chamber not to see that.

Yep companies are moving out of China. Into Singapore and other low wage countries. They’re still not coming here. And so next year we will slap tariffs on them. And so on and so on. Meanwhile the American consumer pays higher costs for goods.
