He had a great record but he also had the most talented team in the league how many of those years?

 

Arena drafted Omar Gonzalez and DeLaGarza, signed Sarvas, Juninho, and Lletget, traded for Dunivant, Magee, and Rogers.

 

Isn't it the GM's job to put the most talented team out there? How is him putting together the most talented team a bad thing?

I actually didn’t realize he was both coach/GM which I guess he was. To play Devils Advocate though, as you can see by my last post, LA were playing in their own league during those years. When incompetent Alexi can be in charge of your club and you bring in the leagues most talented player and biggest star ever you’ve got a hand up on everyone else.

 

Honestly I can’t help but try and shit on Bruce no matter his track record.

 

Bruce can suck all the dicks in addition to Dong Garber’s.

I don’t agree with the mad of it, but I do completely agree with the atmosphere. Wouldn’t trade Providence Park for any place in the country to watch MLS.

Hopefully we get grass soon to make it top notch. You can’t replicate the feelings of old, cozy, stadiums.

Fenway, Wrigley, the best college football stadiums, Lambeau. It’s just different.

Providence Park is easily the best I’ve experienced. Haven’t been to The Benz though.

 

I won’t attend a game unless Messi is lugging me around on his back.

Big fan of new playoff structure. I think we will see a bump in viewership (and thus, eventually, revenue) with the elimination of home and home.

I’d like to see the # of teams stay the same as additional teams are added, but it’s a good start.

Atlanta probably doesn’t even make the title game this year if they had to play at New York.

 

We would have still beat Seattle on the road.
