Dude it’s alright to disagree with his stance. All I tried to is explain why I thought (since I am going through something similar) the “want a paycheck” was tone deaf. You dismissed me and my opinion by telling me “to miss you with that”.

I apologize about it coming across that way which is why I said you can miss me with it. My intent was that his opinion is swayed because it’s affecting him personally and I chose to put it in that way. If you want to let it bother you fine, but my intent wasn’t to be a douche. I’m fairness, Israel has a slightly higher need for a wall, being a Jewish state surrounded by countries and people who have vowed its destruction. The women and children coming here to try to escape dangerous situations aren’t quite the threat.
I understand the consequences quite clearly and here’s my opinion: Don’t give him a fucking dime until he reopens the government at which point comprehensive immigration reform can be debated/negotiated through our normal democratic processes.
