i had a student teacher in high school who told us that the civil war was fought over states' rights. it's the type of logic that makes sense to a 16 year old.
As a history teacher, it seems a majority of social studies teachers are coaches who use history because it’s easy and they can do no work. All a teacher has to do is allow students to read the Declarations of the slave states to see it was easily about slavery.

this is why Bernie bros are what they are. It shouldn't be about infighting. It should be about "look how much enthusiasm there is for a progressive movement" and "lets work to be the leader of it" or whatever. Not planting the seeds of his base being anti-beto in the event he wins.
Any infighting should be about policy. And even that should be in only a constructive criticism tone. Unity at the end of the primary process is going to be key.
